Just got a serpent 977wc,,, I’m doing what your into ,, all aftermarket parts on the cars and color schemes … with online ordering these days you can get so many different things on demand it makes it all possible , with some imagination ! Savage. I accidentally ordered the XL side plates , so now it’s twisted me into a whole new direction. I got the blue integy 5 mil( I think 5 mil) side plates , which are sick! So I’m going the 5.9 direction and gonna chop er up and go big , the little details you used w the blue countersink screw hardware on your side plates is genius! I already have the purple aluminum everything from my last go , I’m encorperating those w orange Aluminum etc to get a tasteful mix of colors , I’ll send pics when she is almost there , you will appreciate the detail as well. I’m a cabinetmaker ( 23 years)!so detail is what is all about brother . anyways, I’ll be watchin. 👍👍👍👍

Does look sweet, i really like the shell. The overall car looks great nice and clean. Do you just build these cars because they look to clean? I personally build but i don't run them maybe once in a blue. Parts are harder to find as the yrs go by. I spent $50 bucks on a fuel tank for the Savage. I don't think it would cost $20 at regular price even when all parts were available. Nice dud 👍
It took me months to finish.. parts were hard to find because of the age of the car. But yes it’s a new build!! Hopefully I’ll run it this summer! But this was a fun build and it turned out really nice.. thank you again.
