I wish there was a kind of factory where you can customize your gun from scratch, choosing from templates of course. Choosing from a body, then internals, bolt shape, barrel length, (possible bull pup configuration) and then get to watch it made right in front of you. It's probably really ridiculous but it would be a cool idea.
Cool to see this. My dad's been a cnc programmer and metal model maker for a couple decades so I'm no stranger to the machining process.

Superb video, I love behind the scenes and factory tours - would have like to have seen more about the various finishing methods though - obviously the pistons are anodized but I mean more how they get a durable finish on the exterior parts. I have my own ways, would just like to see factory work! Coming from an engineering background though, getting my own gun made would be a dream come true - maybe one day (but probably not lol)

Yeah I guess it probably is - but I've been involved in design/CAD/CAM in the past, and could even do most of it myself if I had access to the machining. Too expensive to do in the UK though, definitely something that needs contracted out to the East to be viable!

Aluminium gets "Anodized"(colored) not "Oxidized" and the stock is having it's "mold flash" removed, I don't know what removing residue is all about but very cool video Bro. Your technical terminologies made me laugh a bit.

I love your videos and I really enjoy Watching tour career. But , seriously, I ask you to pay attention to these guys working conditions: they are alfull and would never allowed in Austria (or any european countries). Just to comment the most obvious, the overal noise levels are abusive (those people are slowing loosing their hearing); there are dangerous tools and machines and the workers have sero protection on their hands: and I bet there are chemicals and powders in the air. You have an opportunity to demand better working conditionsbfor them. Please consider how many subscribers you have and the example you can give.
Sage2000 I’ve grown up in American machine shops and currently work in one. The machine shop looked like most American machine shops. Getting people to wear ear and eye protection consistently is difficult and their personal choice.

You can add grounding by connecting the Ground wire to the heater or waterpipe.

Easy fix for your grounding problem. Just run a wire from your piping to any metal surface that will shock you. Make sure the piping is metal all the way to earth.
Ok, I am unsure about the cost of disposing of coolant/lubricants in Taiwan, but it seemed that the mills used way too much oil. That soup lookes like the stuff used to cut threads on hardenes steel tubes. For processing aluminium there is a nice technique where alcohol is used as coolant. Very little of it will be used and it cools amazingly well and the product is already clean and dry when it comes out of the machine. That would certainly simplify the process chain, reduce pollution and perhaps even save money. (Really impressive production by the way. The attention to detail is very satisfying)
