Guitar acoustic or electric is just an instrumental. Any type of guitar will do, however, I prefer not to use Nylon String Guitar (classical guitar)
Try yourself with any guitar and get the sound you like

How about a reggae strumming without capo ? What chords to be use ?

You can play this technique without capo on any chord.
The reason I am using capo here and playing on B flat, so I can sing comfortably
