What a sensual sizzling rain song and that's because you get to be serenaded by the soulful romantic King Kumar Sanu who has the best robust voice for me which never fails to amaze me everytime I listen to his songs. I could listen to his songs on loop and still not be tired. He is brilliantly at modulating his voice which singers with powerful voices often struggle with but it's second nature to him. I don't understand why critics put him down with the nasal twang comment when they should be appreciating the countless melodies that he has given. Sanu passes the test of the masculine voice for the hero so is suitable for romance and sad songs which resonate with the majority of the working class public and who feel the soulful pain in his voice which reaches the soul and takes us away from the tensions in our lives. I don't like the way that he was sidelined after the millennium as I feel that he had more hits for us when the voice was still fresh. The tonal quality is surreal when KS goes for the soft approach. He can mix it up in the same song by ramping up the intensity factor which is the hallmark of a great singer who has mastered the creativity of his art form and taken it to new levels with his contribution to it! Just imagine if Kumar Sanu voice was tampered with before his debut we would have lost the great individuality that followed.
