- The incredible W.A.F.F.L.E dance crew made their debut on the show a few years ago, and now they’re back in the studio after a major achievement - reaching the semi-finals on the current season of “America’s Got Talent”! Ellen chatted with the New York City-based dancers about how their lives have changed since appearing on the show, what it was like to get a coveted Golden Buzzer from Simon Cowell on “AGT,” and how they’re using their platform to call out racial injustice, and fight for equality. The Waffle Crew are still champions and I wished they were in the finale of AGT. If they were on World of Dance, they can get even further than they were on AGT. I will still go and see them live.

I was just watching them on AGT and the golden buzzer (which was my search term for this evening!)... and, it's difficult to say what I want to exactly. I guess it's because I can't relate at all to the difficulties these young men grew up with. So I'll leave it at that. I hope it will get better, but I am not always so confident of that either. I want an attitude though, in our country, of less restrictive, and more enablement. I just came up with that, and I suppose it's sort of dumb. I just hope it will be so for our children.

Those guys can do backflips and other moves that not very many people can do, but I see Now United as more talented than them.
