The part MUST match the VIN # of the car and original wheel size or you will have problems. Also needs Tech stream to bleed properly and reset codes.

Tech stream to bleed the brakes?
I'm having this abs issue with an 07 Prius, ABS and actuator replaced and most third party mechanics are scratching their heads why the ABS ECU won't cooperate.

Great video, there are lots of videos of people changing out the abs units but not anyone I’ve found explaining the voltage/pressure values and what to watch for. Thank you for breaking it down. I have a 2009 ls460 with 85,000 miles with the c1391 code I’m getting ready to change the entire abs unit out in. Do you have any suggestions on where to get a legitimate cd and cable copy of techstream? The forums seem to have all sorts of fake and problematic versions but I’ve not found any that work properly without lots of trouble. I’ve ordered an autel bi directional scanner which I’ve seen others online use to do the leak diagnostics and bleeding procedure and that will be here Wednesday. In case that doesn’t do it I’m looking for a good copy of techstream. The entire unit for an LS from Lexus is just under $2000 for the part alone so I want to get it right.

I believe legit techstream is a subscription based and you can only get it from Toyota. It would only make sense to get it if you work on Toyota and Lexus on daily bases. My Autel did bleeding just fine. Talk to your parts department sales guy to help you with a part cost, they must have a wiggle room in the price.

Good to know the Autel will do the bleeding. I’ll ask if there’s any wiggle room on price but that’s my business account with Lexus parts and it’s usually much lower than retail. From what I’m reading on forums the entire job from Lexus dealerships is right at $4000. I called Toyota corporate and my car falls into the free replacement tsb but it’s limited to 10 years from date of first use and they wouldn’t cover it as I’m years past that. Thank you for your help!
