I’m really glad that her dad is actually trying to reconnect and her sister is finally seeing her side of things, but it doesn’t change the fact that he was a terrible parent and he hasn’t even admitted to a mistake yet, much less taken accountability for his failings. He doesn’t deserve Nina’s forgiveness, so he should treasure that forgiveness she gave him of her own volition. Even if I still want him to confront Nina during the festival and for Momoko to tear him a new one.
Nina's random cartoony behaviour is honestly the best kind of comedy in this show. Especially "Doitsumo Koitsumo Koitsumoooooo!" later on
