- Amano Pikamee is a beloved EN & JP VTuber who was recently harassed over her desire to play Hogwarts Legacy. After going silent for a month, she announced her graduation. Other VTubers in the scene, such as Mori Calliope of HoloEN, Pomu Rainpuff of NijiEN, Pipkin Pippa & Chisaka Airi of Phase Connect, and the independent Kirsche Verstahl, have weighed in to various degrees.
This video could have been a lot longer, but my audio setup is scuffed and I'm feeling ready to move back to my normal style of videos.

Remember she likes streaming because she like that people on internet accept her. Now they take it away from her. It's not just what they took from us, they also took something from her.
Gyari said that her graduation was planned before all this. We don't know how much of that is actually true, but that doesn't make these people any less sick and pathetic.
Pikamee is off to see magnets now, and I hope the person behind Pika will do more great things out there.

You know that old post that floats around occasionally "Scooby-Doo taught me that the real monsters are people." It's true. It takes a monster to want to kill somebody over playing a videogame. Somebody who never did anything wrong. Somebody who's expressed how hard their life has been and how unhappy they were before they got the chance to make others happy.
Scooby-Doo also taught me that monsters are nothing without a mask. A screen to hide behind is just a mask for those monsters.
On the other hand, The Witcher has taught me the monsters have weaknesses. If you take advantage of their weakness, they go down pretty easy. No matter how strong they act, they always show their weakness.
I'm glad you've learned so much. I hope that you will apply it well in life.
Even if they had absolutely nothing to do with the graduation, which is unlikely, they still soured her final months as Pikamee and took time she can never get back.
In conclusion? We must force them out of this community. The cult has to leave. Those who would cancel someone for not following their personal beliefs is not welcome here.
If you have gender dysphoria or are a sexuality that cult claims to represent? Don't fall for their shit. Don't wave their flags. You are you, no one else. You don't owe them anything. They will use you as a number and throw you away if you aren't useful to them. They will turn on you if you question what they preach. Their only goal is to spread their way of life to everyone with no tolerance for difference or questions, hiding behind you when someone questions their ethicality. The more power they have the wider their influence will grow and the more people will be harassed. Just be yourself and respect someone else's beliefs.

I see a simple problem with forcing them to "leave" the community... quite a few were never actually part of it.
That is the worst part. People with no interest or investment for the communities they attack do their best to wrack then and attack successfull members of said communities to demonstrate their power both to themselves and to anyone watching.
They can't be forced out, the only thing you can do is ignore them, and tell anyone else to do so as well.
The only power they have is the power we give them. Neither appologize to them nor acknowledge them.
Soon enough they will grow bored and find another target, which could just as well be one of their own.
Oof a but of a typo on the last part there but i do agree it isnt a reason to attack anyone but some of them are using the trans community as a cover up of their identity although im thinking most of them are apart of that said community it still isnt a good idea to harass someone out of their career and i think apologizing or leaving them be will just let the fire spread even further for granted it is a good option but some would still be encouraged or motivated cause theres no one to fight back against them which just displays their power even more

What you did was right although there’s some who would like to see them protected for some ungodly reason. Pikamee was a beacon a sign that there are nice sweet an lovable people still in this world an you helped expose those who wished to destroy that so thank you sir thank you for exposing them good on you keep it up an thank you

as much as i am on your side here, i doubt any amount of backlash would stop these people. I seriously doubt they actually believe in anything and would rather just be angry at someone else than be productive about their lives (these are probably a bunch of mentally ill self-hating internet losers that would rather project than reflect on themselves). I know this video comes from a good place but, honestly, at this point is best to stick to the usual when someone graduates: give them the best we have and a warm send-off

I assure you backlash in the shape of a swift decking, whether proverbial or physical, would definitely stop them. It's time to knock it off with the tolerance guys.
I do agree that any amount of backlash might not completely deter these single braincell fools but not giving any backlash at all is the same as just staying silent instead of fighting back when someone is constantly punching you in the guts. It sends the message that no matter what they do, there will be no resistance, no consequences for their actions, heck they are more likely to get the message that they are 100% in the right and are arbiters of justice. But if we actually just push back, sure they might not stop, but they will now know that there is resistance. Unfortunately there are going to be some people who think that we should wait until after pikamee graduates before doing anything as they don't want her last month to be a total war but there are 2 problems with that. First is that war is already here. There is already some backlash but not enough. Second let's be real here, what are the chances that this topic will have as much fire and steam now compared to 1 month later?

I appreciate you making this video and not stepping on eggshells around the details, but I really don't think going as far as to show names of the harassers was a good idea. I haven't a doubt in my mind that there were people not just saddened but angered by Pikamee's situation, and not all of them are going to be mature enough to not start harassing people themselves. I get that protecting them from the treatment they gave others seems more than they deserve, but punishing them really isn't going to make anyone happy.
@@SoZased i think exclusion is the right move but I just hope no one goes beyond that, all of these people, as much as we hate them, have people who care about them IRL, they don't deserve to die or go into a deep depression.

@@liamconn35 like they caused an actually innocent person? No matter what anyone says, this has caused her a lot of pain. You could tell on her last public stream. It's also not like this can be reversed. In some ways it is like they bullied someone into offing themselves, and we may never know how she handles things going forward or if this will always be a source of deep emotional pain for her.
A lot of people are mad & a lot of people are going to stay mad. Honestly, if everyone keeps trying to shelter the people who are responsible then that anger is going to be projected at all trans people. It's probably too late for that last part anyway, but without specific targets it will be even more so.
