its a mario 64 - physics based game in the same style of 3d land and 3d world. the goal here is to make fun, linear levels.

This game looks really awesome, and if you don't make it too hard like _Last Impact_ *definitely* was, but _still_ require the bit more skill modern games are missing, then this should gain you the final jump to success!
Come to think, if you could by any chance even make some _money_ out of it -- imagine they'd release it for _Nintendo Switch_ ! :)

How did you make the ants be animated? Most sm64 hacks I’ve seen that change the enemy model leaves them unanimated.
ive made many animated enemies before (e.g. see last sunshine preview)
i figured out the animations in 2014 and have made a tool back then to convert them, but noone else has yet used them. making custom enemies takes a lot of knowledge at the moment.

Kaze you never disappoint it's amazing how you can add new features and abilities to a 23 year old game and make it look brand new
This reminds me of a dream I had last night. It was at it's base Super Mario 64, but you could go to extra levels that were large kart arenas that used Mario Kart 64 assets and gameplay, with special paths, tricks, or use of specific items at certain points in order to get stars along with basic courses you can race. On top of that in those levels before you began you could add in or drop out extra players who could also collect stars and or race on tracks in it depending on the options chosen. Probably impossible for the hardware, you'd pretty much need two game engines and have to develop a ton of alternative options, but I loved that dream, it was a Mario Kart expansion in Super Mario 64 and still had all the stuff from the original too. Maybe you could even change game styles when you entered a level. It was just that though, a dream, I wouldn't even know where to or how to properly implement it. I was surprised by it honestly.

it's cancelable frame one and doesnt make a sound if you jsut start walking - i simply chose to go through it because its fun

I'm curious to if there's any plans on improving the parts where the camera is locked. It would be nice if the camera was allowed to only scroll up and down when Mario ascends or descends; that way, you don't need to have the camera zoomed all the way out to see the entire section all at once (plus its kinda hard to see and hear Mario when he's far away like this).
