I am still convinced of my opinion: the coolest covers by First to Eleven are those that originally were Pop, Dance Pop or Electropop songs: they drastically change the sound of the song, giving the listener a totally new experience.
Instead, covers of originally Rock songs are indeed good, but there is no surprise when you listen to them for the first time
I like those too, but I love their covers of rock songs as well. Their Metallica covers and the Guns N' Roses cover were awesome and their "Coheed and Cambria" cover may well be my favourite cover that they have done!

Totally agree! I believe that in general, covering rock songs is harder than covering pop songs, cause more often than not, rock songs are pretty much good the way they are while pop songs can be trashy or guiltypleasure-y so... there's way more room to improve. And First to Eleven definitely has all it takes to improve on mainstream pop/dance/whatever songs.
Shape of you is my favorite from these guys, it is truly awsome what they did, from the monoton pop rhythm of Ed, they pull out a super heavy tune lml lml
As a rock band, they bring a lot more variety to their pop covers. Their rock covers are mostly similar to the originals but they are still amazing. I also love their punk covers.
I read that they are all 18-19 but the band was formed in 2009. They started a rock band as kids. I think it's cool.
From what I remember the bass player runs a rock band school to help kids pursue their dreams of being rock stars (Seriously awesome), teaching how to be professional and most importantly how to rock!! he's in a few different bands from his school like First to 11 so they all start pretty young

YESSSSS! "Are You Mine"! I think Audra could do that song in her sleep, it definitely won't be a stretch for her but it's a great sounding song all the same!

Im a huge fan of Against the Current in making covers way back in the early days because they're giving unique taste of my favorite songs but I still love them even if they stoped making covers but now First to Eleven is giving me the vibes I felt with ATC.
