on Jan 4th, 2008, I came with my wife for my honeymoon from Dubai. We stayed for 7 days followed by 7 days at Cape Grace. We have traveled the world and stayed at Burj El Arab, the only 7 star hotel in the world here in Dubai. NOTHING beats The Ellerman House. Its the only 10 star hotel, people, country and everything else. Hats off and we shall be back one day soon. Bless you

It's indeed a stunning hotel, especially when you stay in the villas. The wine cellar is just spectacular!!!
Wonderful scenic beauty all around the hotel, the valleys and the green cover is awesome. The teakwood floors, others like art works, painting are magnificent. The trees, plants and small flowers, the lawns of green grass overlooking the sea is mesmerizing. At night the view is stunning.
Everything about this beautiful place works for me (except the construction noise, which will hopefully end soon). Definitely one for my list. You really captured the beauty of Cape Town in this film also.
This makes me wonder what my house in Heaven will be like :)) SO BEAUTIFUL!

but if I may suggest, could you hold a slightly half second more per food when you view the food at table / breakfast buffet and the name, because it's too blurry at that section of every video of yours, hard too imagine the taste if you move too fast lol

Cape Town is one of the most beautiful cities I have visited except at night you can't go out.

Beautiful place, easy to see why you love it so much. But is it really safe to go for a swim? I thought those waters were like the great white shark's fave hangout place.
The waters are very cold (14°C) that's why nobody goes into the sea :-)
Sharks frequent the warmer waters of the Indian Ocean which as you know is on the opposite side of the mountain. Fish Hoek and Muizenburg beaches not the safest places to swim in the early morning there due to heightened shark activity in that False Bay area. Shark Spotters do amazing work watching out for sharks from high up.in the mountains as well.as the use of drones over the bay.

There are still security issues although my impression was that situation improved as compared to 10 years ago. And Cape Town feels very safe, especially its Atlantic coast

great location for sure. But the whole first half of this video I had the place confused with my late grandmothers nursing home in San Diego. It just looks like a place where elderly people hangout and complain about whats wrong with the world theses days. And that awful construction noise which ran through the whole video was dreadful. Can you imagine shelling out a grand a day to stay at that hotel and having to listen to that horrible noise all day??? I have spent allot of time in cape town, and there are much nicer places to stay. Sorry!
The art work on the walls look like something done by elderly residents of a nursing home (which the whole place resembles) A lovely high end nursing home to be sure,but hardly a great hotel vibe
this hotel is oppressive and claustrophobic even outside. The owner is more interested in his art the hotel probably exists to finance it!

Please send your money to the organisations that care for children you are concerned about on Africa. These hotels bring tourists that create jobs for these children's parents. Take away the hotel and then eat all the money end of money. It is like eating the goose that lays the eggs. Eat the meat once or have a steady stream of eggs. Rich people don't go on holiday to poor places and then no one there enjoys some of their money. The rich are big spenders and often big givers. When they come they see the needs and support those charities. You can support a charity even when you are not wealthy. Start where you are with a little to one charity.
Don't see any disability access in this building so that is a total fail
