    Eli,
    Love the new format! Finally made it past the 10-minute mark without having to scrub the video for interesting/amusing bits. I loved 'The Daily Blob' segment transitions. Perhaps you can find a way to incorporate them into this format? I need to check out GBD again; last time I visited, it was still sort of a proto-site. Keep up the good work!
    Thank you!

    Thank you so much for providing this video. I have been working on a good way to send mail via my home dev server which is on Comcast, and very very very blacklisted and port blocked. SendGrid as a Exchange 2010 Smart Host on port 587 is exactly what I needed! Thank you.

    Hi @Eli the Computer Guy, do you have any advice for how to use SendGrid with a Ruby on Rails app hosted(going to be) on Gmail? I'm almost done developing my site before I relocate and launch it on Google cloud from AWS. Any advice?

    I thought that blocking proxy servers resulted in corporate proxies getting blocked too?

    Yea, I'd just want one for personal archives and encryption from my server to smtp relay host. With my own personal encryption key.

    The inateck charger is a bit overpriced for what it offers. given that there are many modern 90 watt rated DC to DC switching regulators for less than $3 from companies like TI, it is not much of a stretch for a user to build their own charger that will do 2+ amps on many ports for a fraction of the cost.
    Or if needed, if you are only using the 5V rail, then you do not need to run the fan on a computer power supply. $10-15, you can get a low end 400-500 watt power supply, many of which will allow you to easily to 17 USB ports at 2.1 amps each while being passively cooled. (I tried using an old "Ultra" branded power supply for powering random small projects (not powering a PC), and even with the 120mm fan removed, when pulling lots of power from the 5V rail, the heatsinks only got warm to the touch. Furthermore, the generic cheap ATX power supplies tend to have much lower noise levels and more stable voltages compared to many generic USB chargers, especially when it comes to line ripple, filtering, and many other characteristics since if you get too far out of ATX spec, a PC will not even boot. modern boards will have their protection kick in if the voltage on any rail is too low or high, and excessive line ripple will cause the system to not even make it to the bios post.
    They can cheap out, but they still have to meed the specs, though many of the die if you try to max out all rails at the same time, and while the cheap ones may not be reliable for actual computing, they are very reliable if only under a very low load.

      SendGrid (.com) -> 200 per day * 30 days = 6 000 free emails per month
      VS
      MailGun (.com) -> 10 000 free emails per month
      MailGun not only offers more emails per month, but they are also cheaper and offers better implementation than sendgrid.
