I used Fog of War until I became a Pro Subscriber - now I either use Dynamic Lighting or nothing at all. This is a really clear walkthrough of Fog of War! 😎
Nick uses two different accounts, one that's set to the GM and one that's set as a player simply for demonstration purposes in his videos; he just means that he's showing what a player would see through their token when he says that. However, if you want to look through a token's eyes as a GM to see what they see, ctrl+L lets you see through their eyes, allowing you to make sure that their token is set up for vision properly and whatnot.
One thing i always have a question about, i've seen some maps that the black areas/fogs, even on dynamic lightning, isn't so black. Is like a shadow. The player sees the area that isn't discovered, but all grey/black, instead of a blackout.

Thanks for the vid! I'll be using Fog of War to reveal areas of the hex map as the players explore
I don’t use Fog of War often, but this is fantastic
For starters, how did you “pull up my player view”. Always learning from this channel.

I’ve found that token’s hit point bars are still visible to player’s under fog of war. Great video!
