I love this because Idk who to root for. It's tough the more I watch the more I'll like one guy and then it's tough to not like another. Like Warda, Saylor, Kracht, K. Schultz, Davis, and Chadwick. Unbelievable. Great talent, great guys. But then on the other side you got Knorp, Bonham, D. Schultz, Heath, Coughlin, Cheetam. Its tough. Hopefully it's a great game! About to start watching! SPOILERS AHEAD----- What a great day for Dan to be lights out. Wow. He was pitching better than Ive seen in recent memory. Knew it was risky putting drew in such a close game. No hate, but those walks have been a constant issue all year (or two) and it came back to bite again today. Was surprised that Kyle didn't pull him immediately when the bases were loaded. Final thoughts? Jimmy knorp. Man of the league. Getting walks when needed, pitching dominance and even though the bats slept in today, he was one of the main reasons NL finally got to walk away with a win. Well deserved boys. Thrilled for the world series and playoffs this year. Lastly, I really hope we see some big name trades and changes to teams in the off-season. Some teams have gotten a little stale and too comfortable compared to some of the new rising stars. I really think a change would benefit some of these players who are locked in their team and just not playing well. You know who I'm talking about. Even if it's difficult leaving your team as a manager, I think a new setting and teammates would really help turn around some of these season long slumps we're seeing with some veterans. Great all star game. Can't wait for '22.
Awesome ASG, but it shows that when top class pitching come up against top class batting in MLW, the pitching wins comfortably. Most of the runs we see are scored off second rate pitchers, and, with the draft, it's only a matter of time before every team has two good pitchers. I think you guys need to think about a tweak to the rules of the positioning of the mound now, to get ahead of the issue before it becomes a problem. Apart from that, which is pretty nit picky I won't lie, the content is consistently brilliant, and this is one of my favourite sporting leagues in the world, so well done and thanks for the entertainment.
This was a rarity in baseball, where your team has no hits and yet you still win it. The only way that happens is if runs are scored entirely by walks, like what happened here.
