The greatness of this sketch lies in the delivery, like how Trevor casually picks up his guitar and his looks while tuning it just while telling his foreign policy plans
I'm not sure how that's considered "part of the delivery" in contrast to the rest of the sketch, and I'm not sure what it is about the sketch you're trying to point out. Can you give another example of "the delivery"? Or can we just watch and appreciate the thing without reducing it for brain-fuckingly obvious observations?
I like how when Timmy is reading his note the music still goes on but it mellows slightly. It even sounds like he’s reading it to the rhythm a little bit XD
For those wondering, the Superdog jam is loosely based on Do You Feel Like I Do off the Frampton Comes Alive album. They make a couple of Peter Frampton references through the run of the show.
This sketch has become so much more relevant every passing year, our political climate has become so much like a circus, every time I see any kind of debate between these "representatives of the people" I immediately think of this sketch.
That SUPER DOG jam though! I say Moyer for President, Patton for Vice Prez, and Ludlum as Secretary of Defense bwam bwam bwam bwaaaaaam. Imagine their rallies/concerts, gimme that! 2:45 the magic begins🔥💥💫
what kind of wife thinks that a lock of her hair is a smart thing to put in a letter? this is an outrage, everything was completely credible until then.
I feel that people with dementia and narcissistic personality disorder were sorely unrepresented vs their proportional percentage of politicians. The candidates in the sketch were also way too entertaining and original in their contributions to the discourse. Kinda wish we lived in that timeline.
@@MaynardCrow This sketch pre-dates the most recent two presidential elections, thus, its from the era before it was the norm to have candidates with dementia and/or narcissistic personality disorder.
Funny thing is this is not far off from each party deciding whose gonna be running for president. We all know they’re in it together but there’s always that one candidate that everybody teams up on.😂
You know a timeless show when the sketches actually get more pointed in time.
Dude. Look at them all now. Sooooo relevant!
The 2020 presidential debates are going to be like this, but dumber.
yes from the future
Yes from the future lmfao
@@The_sinner_Jim_Whitney that democrat debate where everyone started yelling in broken spanish was funny
I love the guy who doesn't say anything, but just blasts the air horn.
And I love you 😘
Hey, his name is Governor Ludham. Show some god damn respect!
If he really did that, he’d be the best governor Illinois had this last century, and one of the few who didn’t end up in jail.
Yeah I also really liked it when the funny guy did the funny thing. Brilliant observation
Hey hey, former governor
Sounds like to me that Timmy was the least experienced politician as he clearly didn’t read the rules of the debate.
good point actually, he's lost my vote now

Herschel Walker just did this with his fake police badge.
lmaooo holy shit he did
An now he’s likely secretary of defense

Did he ever get his guitar back?

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I've always loved the Superdog jam and been wanting to listen to something like it for years!
I put 2 & 2 together after seeing the simpsons episode where homer was taking cannonballs to the gut during concerts 😅

Can we talk about that Super Dog jam, tho?
What song is that??

Real shame about Sonic Youth raiding Frampton's cooler.

69th like. Something poor Timmy never experienced. F for Trevor Moore and Timmy's prospects.

Amazing how Congressman Moyer gets elevated to the Senate in a period of around 10 seconds from his introduction. Democracy in action...
Fitting for tonight's debate, years and years later
I wish they would still make new episodes

No way it will ever happen now without Trevor but they already managed to crank out so many.

@@captainsquids2792 what good news ? Tell us
That music was too good for it just to exist in a skit, so much that I almost did a write-in for Super Dog.
Love the "fk this country" in there
We could really use President Super Dog
More relevant than ever
walker must have used this video for debate prep
Trevor and Sam had no right to go this hard
i love the guitar and the voice tube, it sounds so exotic.
Trevor was the best part of the show. The world is less without him.
These guys get every detail so perfect and are genuinely good actors especially Darren.
Knowing wkyk, I was expecting it to be a dirty letter
If only kamala used her props
Just noticed Timmy is from South Dakota and in this he is the Senator of SD.
I'm from the future. This more or less actually happens, so get your laughs in now while it's still funny.
The current presidential debate was last night…. Your comment has aged very well
what kind of wife thinks that a lock of her hair is a smart thing to put in a letter? this is an outrage, everything was completely credible until then.
It was a Victorian-era tradition. She's clearly a woman of traditional values :p
Everyone knows the super dog jam is the best thing ever conceived. RIP Trevor you sweet, sweet animal.
Still more substance than today's debates. The Talk box super dog theme has been stuck in my head for a decade though. Absolutely legendary.
Still more substantive than the actual presidential debates
This sketch is so much funnier than I remember
Still relevant in 2021 lol
Indeed Friendo
Like a scene straight out of parks and rec 😂
that talkbox guitar jam was actual;ly tasty as fuck
I trust the airhorn guy more than anyone else.
We miss you Trevor!
This is way more professional than any presidential debates we're having now.

Darren is an amazing straight man
After the Trump Harris debate, I'm convinced this is the direction the debates actually are headed.
You’re right. Trump had his obligatory accordion

holy fuck its actually unreal how good the super dog song is
It's basically a straight copy of Frampton Comes Alive
this reminds me so much of the movie Idiocracy.

How unrealistic! A US general presidential race with four candidates.

Joe bidens props would have to be a wheelchair and an ice cream cone.
did you literally just miss the entire point of the sketch worrying about how it might effect Trump? Glorious
