22 years of being a HR fan i can proudly say this there is more to come from HR as an actor. The evolution of his craft can be seen in Vikram Vedha. To listen to his Growth story his honest shortcomings, downfall is a learning curve for anyone who wants to achieve in life.
It's so good to see him talking from his heart and at 5:01 you can see him stutter. He has built this " hero" persona in order to cope and overcome it. Isn't that what you would want as an actor? To acknowledge your work as well as you. I mean we have seen a ton of interviews where you ask a director about his process and the success that he has delivered. Actors are also a part of that. Actually one of the main reason why you connect to the film. Actors are the ones who are on the front end giving the character life. So from my point he is can brag all he wants. As a South Indian my biggest complaint is that the bollywood never really used or exploited the skill sets of Sharukh Khan and tha potential of an actor like Hrithik Roshan. May be this guys were also responsible they could have reach out to quality and ambitious projects.
For me personally Swades was 9ne of his best performance and movie.. but it bombed at the box office 🤷🏻. So it's the audience who is responsible for the kind of movies he is roped into.

I revisited Kaho Naa Pyaar hai and realized that the movie has aged quite well and would be a perfect masala movie with perfect blend of action, romance and drama packed in one story. Rohit's chase sequence just before he drowns and dies is well shot and comparable to the chase sequence in Bhavesh Joshi. Even the final fight sequence is decent. Had they used non-linear story telling and treated Rohit's murder as a mystery making the audience guess till the end whether Raj is indeed Rohit or his lookalike, it would have been a perfect thriller.

A classic Interview! Loved the whole conversation about Hritik's past film insights. But I have a thought about why Hritik underestimating his one of the most versatile bravo character of Lakshya? That movie was far ahead of that time and not only one of the best Indian army related movies but also a life changer show for a Direction Less Individual (Youth). BR is doing amazing work. Hrithik is a favorite among 80 and 90's kids and I vividly remember seeing Kaho pyaar hai and enticed by the person shown onscreen. As a South Indian, l am pleasantly surprised how humble and aware Hrithik Roshan is of his skills, career as an actor and a star contrary to what some people would have you think of Bollywood celebrities. A question for my brothers from up north, Where does he rank amongst the other stars in Bollywood? Does he get hated like the others?
There are many actors aware of themselves. The industry where you are from doesn't determine your awareness/intelligence. Its an individual thing.
