- It's been over 6 months since I visited a thrift store and you KNOW I needed to get out of the house! So I packed up the baby, and my MOM, and we hit my favorite second hand shop! Did we find anything?! ABSOLUTLY! did we take anything home?! ehh, we got some half way decent drapes for a house my mom is working on fixing up, and sometimes that's the best you can hope for!

First, the intro of scissors cutting fabric is so dang satisfying! And second, I am OBSESSED with thrifting and as I sit here trying to find places for things I bought months ago I have to remind myself I don’t need everything. My new rules are if I don’t have an IMMEDIATE place/use for something I pass. Or if I have to make it a craft project to use it I’ve started passing on those items too. I did cave recently to a Marie Antoinette lamp I found for $2 I plan to cut the wiring out (if it doesn’t work) and repaint the figure and add new fabric for the dress. Lol anyway I love watching your videos because you’re so funny and I look forward to the next one!

Honestly good call with that pink furry blanket, they get so gross when you clean them because they're super plasticky

We're BIG thrifters and I had to put it on pause for a bit because A) man do I have a lot of stuff & 2. Prices at the thrift store are getting out of control. We've found a lot of great stuff for the house, tho.

@@AlexandriaLayne it's SOOO good. You need to make it next time the neighbour is giving away their zucchini. If I don't have time to bake I grate it up and freeze in cake portion size. 🤗
It is legitimately sad to see how much they charge for handmade items at the thrift store- because they did require someone’s time and resources BUT it is a frikkin thrift store, so the prices should be affordable to everyone (sorry lady in the comments). Thrift store prices have gone bananas!
