Turns out balenciaga’s creative director Demna is from Georgia 🇬🇪 and when the Ukraine 🇺🇦 invasion started he felt a sentiment of sadness and anger similar to what happened to his own family and the bag is fully made out of leather and he designed it with the idea that when you are in a rush and your country is being invaded you only take what’s most valuable in sentiment where ever you can fit it and most times is just a trash bag that you end up carrying with your family memories and where you can only fit what really matters the most. I didn’t thought much of the bag until I learned what it represents and that it was made also as a political statement for those in the fashion industry to pay attention to the Ukraine crisis
