My husband is 73. He took one hell of a chance when he was stationed in Thailand and so did his guide, but he crossed the border into Cambodia at the height of the war to see Angkor Wat. He wanted to see ir that badly. To this day he says nothing your mind can imagine can meassure up.

He is one of the few Americans stationed near Nankorn Rachasima who learned Thai and learned all he could about Thai culture. He learned a little Cambodian and some Laotian as well. At a time when few did he developed enormous respect for these ancient civilizations. RIP James Jarret. ❤❤❤
