The Refs help and hurt every team in the league. Only a fraction of penalties are called, and any time a penalty is committed (or is perceived to be), a flag could be thrown. Just like speeding, most of the time you won't be caught, but it's always a possibility.

I'm sorry for all the injuries you guys are going through. We've had three major injuries of our own, and it really makes running the offense that was installed all off-season difficult to run. I have to admit that I'm not rooting for you in the NFC as I always root for the teams that have never won the Superbowl. So, go Vikings and Lions! Also, the 49ers always play us tough in the Superbowl and I would like to see one Chiefs blowout win in the big game.
