FEINSTOFF PREMIERE: Back From The Wave - Saturated Love [MELODIZE]

Melodize kicks off 2025 with a bang, celebrating their 5th anniversary with their 17th release: a carefully curated compilation by label manager Beartrax.
To set the tone, Berlin-based producer Rotciv makes his return to Melodize with "Altered State": this track combines a driving, EBM-inspired bassline with a progressive build, blending trippy, atmospheric and acid-infused sounds. The bar is set high!
Next, Berlin's PCL steps in with "I Want a Bad Girl", a track that fuses new wave and Italo disco. Expect a chunky bassline, shimmering 80s-style synth melodies, and irresistibly groovy rhythms.
Dutch producer Laion turns up the intensity with an exquisite indie dance track that balances phat grooves, lush melodies, and beautifully layered harmonies. This one’s guaranteed to leave its mark on any dancefloor.
Spanish duo Undo & Casiowaves take the mood in a different direction with their mesmerising electro-pop ballad. Melancholic yet uplifting, the track features vocals and guitars reminiscent of The Cure, creating an atmospheric lullaby that invites you to close your eyes and drift away.
Berlin's rising star Micropacer follows with a dazzling homage to Daft Punk. Featuring vocoded vocals, sleek synth arpeggios, classy bass transitions and an enchanting melody that lingers in your mind, Armin truly delivers.
Switching gears, British producer Louis de Tomaso delivers "Aurora", a powerful track that epitomises his signature style. Combine a hefty bassline, layered synth leads, lush pads, and an unrelenting rhythm, and you get a powerful, tension-filled piece rooted in EBM.
Crossing the channel, French producer Back From The Wave brings us "Saturated Love", evoking the early sounds of Scratch Massive and The Hacker. It’s a dark yet delicate track brimming with emotion and sonic depth.
Another well-known French artist, Nhar, now based in Milan, takes over with "Subspace", a deep and captivating track driven by a strong offbeat bassline and sublime pads. Evoking Balearic sounds reminiscent of José Padilla, it’s a piece that will transport you straight to Café del Mar.
Finally, the compilation wraps up with label boss Beartrax himself, who delivers "Discrepancy". Blending film score influences with classical elements, this signature track features Beartrax’s beloved violin melodies alongside atmospheric electronic harmonies, closing the release on a high note.
