The browny/gold backdrop to the final Going Live titles was reused in the Live and Kicking title sequence (check it, it's identical!) so in fact it lasted eight years!
I've seen a different version of this trailer, which was for the new shows in Autumn 1992. The Andi & Edd animated clips where the same but of course the shows being promoted were different.

Gordon would normally pop in on Saturday mornings in the build-up to Going Live. I think it shows here that it isn't his normal "helper" operating him as he looks a bit lifeless!
Maid Marian (best TV show EVER !), The Psammead, Jackanory w. Rik Mayall; TV WAS EXCELLENT IN EARLY 1990's ! Shame it all turned 2 shit in late 90's; Friends, Buffy and other feeble American crap !

I'd imagine it cost a fair bit to make, so they decided to get their money's worth out of it.
