Bhopal Metro or Bhoj Metro project with 2 lines & 28 stations is an under construction mass rapid transit system (MRTS) being built to serve Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh state, by the Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Co Limited (MPMRCL).
Bhopal Metro’s Priority Corridor is expected to be completed and opened in March 2024, beyond its August 2023 deadline. Phase 1 is expected to be completed in 2027.
Bhopal Metro’s 105 km master plan, prepared by Rohit Associates Cities & Rails Pvt.Ltd, envisions 6 metro lines criss-crossing the city out of which 2 lines (line 2 & 5) have been selected for implementation in Phase 1.
Bhopal Metro’s Phase 1 project’s DPR (Detailed Project Report ) with routes of 27.90 km was approved by the state government in December 2016 and by the Central Government’s cabinet in October 2018.
The project is planned to be partly financed through an official development assistance (ODA) loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), and through a 400 million euro loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB) signed on December 20, 2019.
Construction work on Phase 1 commenced in January 2019 and is expected to be completed in 2026. The project’s foundation stone was laid was by the state’s Chief Minister in September 2019 and nicknamed Bhoj Metro.

The authorities conducted a successful trial run of the metro train on the 6.2 km long priority corridor between Subhash Nagar and AIIMS on Thursday. With the successful trial run, it is expected that commercial operations of the metro will start in the coming months. The metro stations will be constructed like airports and will have all the necessary facilities. These stations will feature food plazas, shops, and other amenities.

But apko dusra portion karod se aishbagh ke bich ka work bhi batana chahiye ki waha par kis level pe kam chal raha hai
@@rameshchandrakheroliya9971 thanks for ur comments but mujhe karod side ya karod se chawni circle tak koi work information nhi mil paya.. bogdapul se lekar aishbagh underpass tak work startup dikha Jo basic construction level per hai just start hua hai. Agar aapke pass proper information hai karodo tak ke work status ki toh aap mujhe Insta per DM kar ke bataye main uske uper bhi video zaroor banaunga aur bhopalwasiyo tak ye information dene ki puri koshish karunga.🙂

@@palashyadav4233 Welcome to Human Nest Channel My Dear friend.. kuch metro station per dono side construction hote dikha hai entry exit points ka but kaafi sare station Jo Maine road per hai waha sirf one side entry exit point construction chal raha hai. Wese toh metro station mein dono side se entry exit points banaye jaate hai . Aage dekhte hai ki bhopal metro stations per dono side ye point banaye jaayenge ya nahi . 🙂

But work status ka tour karke mujhe nahi lagta ki iss saal ke last month tak yeh phase start ho paye. Kyu ki abhi monsoon start ho gaya hai jisme kaam already slow ho jata hai barish ki wajah se.

@@bhopalbachchan9249 September tak toh mere khayal se nahi start ho payega kyu ki AIIMS station, Alakapuri station, Habibganj naka station ye tino stations ko pura hone mein time lagega . Aur 24hours fast speed se bhi work kiya jaye tab bhi baarish mein possible nahi . Start ho jaye toh achha hai sabhi log intezar kar rahe hai ki bhopal mein metro ka safar kare🙂

@@HumanNest bhaiya blue line ke tender hi pichle 1.5 saal se open nahi hue....jabki Indore metro ko pehle phase mein hi 17km ki metro mil gayi thi wahi bhopal ko sirf 6km ki metro usme se bhi sirf 4km hi sahi se complete hua..... HQ sab cheez bhopal mein hote hue bhi itna slow kaam chal raha....govt ki prority sirf Indore metro hai bhopal metro sirf naam ke liye bana rahe hai....
