Trains in & around Berwick-upon-Tweed - June 2018.

Here is a selection of clips filmed during a couple of visits I made to Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland, on the 8th & 11th June 2018.
Berwick-upon-Tweed is situated on the East Coast Mainline just south of the England-Scotland border.
This film features clips from locations including Berwick-upon-Tweed Railway Station, The Royal Border Bridge & at Spittal (around 2 miles south of the station)
The following trains are included in this video:
-Virgin Trains East Coast 225s.
-Virgin Trains East Coast HSTs.
-Cross Country Class 220/221 'Voyager' DMUs.
&
-a DRS Class 88 electric locomotive.

One of my favourite places . Back in 79 it was new HSTs , Class 55s,46s,45s,40s and 37s with an 03 as Station shunter. These were the days . Love the VTEC livery , hopefully the new LNER will use it as a basis to prevent full repaints

I saw that 88 on the WCML At Penrith instead here it’s going fast rather than being slow like at Penrith.
