Dialogue... During the campaigns, one man told us on dialogue. His name is Peter Obi. He stated very clearly how to address the security issues in the country is by dialoguing with the concerned parties. But guess what.... he didn't win because his name is not Abubakar or Yakubu.

Atleast two field agents should have been there for confirmation and possibly a video confirmation transmitted to the commander b4 order for bombing is given.
level has gone below par in this government, no accountability. this is not what we want for Nigeria. We are not making progress and time will come when the opportunity will not be available again.

It should be a northerner who knows the area very well who knows when bandits mix up with civilians and it should be a northern military intelligence who knows the vicinity and interact with the northern civilians. I blame the present government who is bent on nepotism, tribalism and not competence.

Until Nigeria stops this quota system of everything that keeps filling up sensitive important roles in the country with unqualified, incompetent people, we will keep going down and down. There is no way forward with the current way Nigeria is composed. It is a pity, but Nigeria`s problem for the next 50 years is already on ground and have not even started getting solved. This was a guy who has always stood behind the Fulani marauders who tormented Nigerians the whole Buhari administration.
Only criticized Buhari when these mûrderous Fulani herdsmen are not given the leeway of escaping justice.
His associate, Mamu who's a confirmed terror sponsor is still languishing in the dungeon of the DSS. Except he has been released without the knowledge of Nigerians, he should still be there.
The only problem with Prof. That i can absolutely lay my hand on, is his learnings to subregional, religious and tribal sentiments. This is primordial when one considers that the man is a Professor.

The military made an error in their operation which they have accepted and apologized for. The bitterness is expected of the guest but sometimes the truth is bitter to be told. If the bandit and the terrorist were responsible for the mass killing, the military would have been blamed for not doing enough. The entire north has been in a war which very difficult to fight and there is bound to be mistakes made and unnecessary casualties. because the military is not fighting conventional war where the enemies are clearly identified. It is unfortunate, that the explanation the military gave regarding the terrorist using the human shield to evade attack is common in wars. While this incident is unfortunate and regrettable the public should not sectionalize the incident or come so hard on the military. Military all over the world make similar mistakes that should not be considered intentional. The north unfortunately is a war zone because the casualties in the region have been on the citizen, the bandits, terrorist and the military. Demilitarizing the region or restricting the military on what equipment to use to fight the terrorists can never be an option.

Being a professor doesn't mean you are perfect. This man is the most mischievous person in the north today who has being mediator between terrorists and kidnapped victims. He is talking about the military command chain because the CDS is a Christian from the north and they wish to see him changed. Generally in asymmetric warfare collateral damage is inevitable and it has happened in the southeast and even in a church in kaduna and nobody tagged it muslim military lesders killing Christians. Go to the southeast and see how the Nigerian army mostly northerners burn houses of igbo business men who lives abroad in the name of fighting IPOB. I know its sad and regrettable that pple died but this man must be put in his right place before he cause more trouble to the country. He was campaigning for Atiku for another fulani to take over from Buhari and now he is here sounding as if he cared about the Christians who were oppressed to elect muslim muslim ticket. Rogue professor and the assistant to Gumi. I will urge this presenters to ask this man what exactly is the grievances of Boko haram and the southwest bandits because other militias has made their motive known. IPOB wants a sovereign state of Biafra because they feel marginalized, south south militias wants resource control because of environmental pollution while southwest yoruba nation wants a separate nation to grow at their own pace. Can this man tell us the reason why bandits are terrorizing the north? Who offended them? Boko haram who offended them and what is their objective

Careless and not thoughtful in making statements shows that many of the commentators lack knowledge of military warfare. Kaduna mishap was an unfortunate incident.
But remember, the army was not on picnic.
    Nor deliberately targeted the victims.
War is going on in many states in the nation, including Kaduna against insurgents, terrorists and bandits.
It was a war zone situation where certain unfortunate errors happen not as a result of incopetency.
    Take this, for example.
The Israelites were attacked on Oct. 7th.
In the process of rooting out the terrorists Israel helicopter gunship bombed and killed many of their own citizens out of error and took them for the enemies. What?
    Are they incompetent?
Israel soldiers making mistakes? One of the best trained soldiers in the world. There are instances when soldiers all of the world in their war campaign mistakenly fire against their fellow soldiers in error. They called friendly fire.
Yesterday, the Lebanese army was cut in crossfire. Israel quickly apologized. Because it was done in error, not intentional.
Whatever happens in any nation, the professional group like journalists and those that are really competent to issue statements should be objective and not use unfortunate incidents to heat up the polity with their own political agenda and bias.
Yesterday in the USA, several state attorneys put many media houses on notice, including Fox News, on their reporting of ongoing war in Gaza. otherwise, they will be charged with supporting terrorism.
The press must uphold the rules of their profession and be fair in their reporting and analysis of events.
