I just ordered a Lightning 4025-560 for my Kraken 580 build. Can't wait! (actually I can because I still have to order the other electronics)

I'm thinking of building myself a goblin 570, all the experience I have is from my trex 470. How should I go about choosing my parts?
Edit: any brand recommendations? I'm going for something thats fairly high end but not budget breaking.

Honestly if your going with a goblin buddy keep it all BK for the servos and go HobbyWing for the ESC. The motor is up to you but I recommend Nova or Scorpion if possible.

Freddy - what is the difference between the regular xnovas, the lightenings, and the tareq ?

I know the Lightning has Higher efficiency with thinner stator laminations for lower temp. As always they say they are hand wound and that amazing. I do believe they use a different magnet type. I say they all work great but as always they make modifications as they progress to give us the best motor possible.

X-Nova's are my favorite motors. Work very well with Kontronik ESC's. I have not tried any of the Lightning series, but I have not reached the capability limits of the older XTS series.

Hi Freddy, I like your videos, it's funny, thanks for this :)
I've a question for you, is this motor ( 4025-1120 kv shaft B ) made for for the Tron 5.5 ? while i don't know which shaft A,B,C, or D for the Tron 5.5.
    Thanks to you :)

I do believe its shave C ,I would have to reference back to my build series but I am pretty sure its C for the 5.5

@@33forsaken Seems Great! I don't have a Scorpion but it's got tons of power compared to the Trex 450 motor. I'm sure you are going to Love it Freddy! I hope your Mrs. had a wonderful Mother's Day today!

Scorpion runs hotter & seems to heat up esc more than xnova does. Xnova all the way!

Scorpions are known to run hot but also made to its common. But yes I love my Novas
