I usually run Darkness Revealed in all my Huntress builds. Counters the basement perks unless Distortion is played.
@SweetLeavesXbox1 same, haven't played trickster yet but Dredge was my first main and I use darkness revealed in my main builds for dredge and huntress. It's sad it feels too niche on other killers but that synergy is incredible
I still think huntress and trickster should get a brown add on that gives a crosshair, every other killer gets something that shows the area of effect of their power, not likebit would be game breaking for good players just helps new huntress players build up memory easier without getting bullied for 100 matches
I've been looking forward to this one! You could have had a collab with any of the well known huntress mains and I'd be just as hyped
This is the god series. You get to talk to all these amazing creators!
I think some killers are purely mechanical and harder to teach over a call which is what Huntress or Oni are for example whilst some killers are more to do with decision making like Singularity and Artist. Knowing where to place birds and pods. Huntress is so simple. You just got to hit your shots. It's hard to teach that really.

Took me a good minute to really get good with Huntress. Even tho she is slow, I feel crippled if I play any other killer.
She is absolutely amazing. As long as you can see your opposition, you can injure/down them. You don't have to spend all the excess time to be right beside them to hurt them. You can be on the other side of the map and Chunk hatchets at survivor repairing a gen. She has the ability to effect multiple people during chase. Most other killer can't recreate that kinda pressure.
Like how the comment said. You don't have to be perfect or be in very specific areas to apply pressure. Huntress is highly dangerous in most maps that are open.
True, and some are both like Pinhead. Unfortunately, DbD does a terrible job at having a good strength/difficulty ratio. You have hard killers that are in D tier, and easy killers in A tier.
I've never clicked on a video so fast before. Been looking forward to this one! It also frustrated me how much Puff refused to use M1. I'm no pro but I typically M1 when I'm right up on survivors and save my hatchets for when they gain distance on me.
yeah usually you would rather hit a close-range hatchet so you get more distance on them since you won't get slowed down with the cooldown animation, similar to trickster
Hitting a melee-hatchet is better when survivor is healthy because you won't be slowed down because of the animation and can hit m1 faster.
Well hitting a close range hatchet gives the survivor less distance because your hatchet cooldown is shorter than your m1 cooldown. Basically if you're good it's way smarter to use close range hatchets
I'm happy that it was coco who did this not only is he a great huntress but he is a great content creator as well and is just a really chill dude

As a Huntress main [with way fewer hours as Coconut], my advice is that often times it's WAY better to gain distance and lunge M1 than to try to hit close range hatchets. It's an easier hit and saves your ammo.
IMO the best use of hatchets are when chasing survivors who are running to a tile. Because even if you miss, they have to lose distance to dodge the shot. In my experience, using hatchets to corral survivors is practically just as valuable as landing the shots.
No need to feel bad about that last game. You did a bunch before and improved a lot, so the most important part was taken care of. The time to win is when you can.

I'm surprised Coconut didn't mention that you were trying to use the Hatchets too much. Especially when you were right on top of people and could get an M1. Just because you have a power, doesn't mean you need to always be using it.

When playing Huntress, you can pull up a hatchet and just not throw it. The victim will run back and forth and you just wait for them to go into your crosshair. Also, you can pull up and close the distance. Many times, you had victims in bad spots but you would throw too fast. For example, at 21:29 you should have held the aim at the window and NOT throw as you get closer. There was no reason to throw in that situation because the victim didn't vault the window.

I watch all of coconut videos and ppl should not be shy of saying they use a crosshair. Otz recommend it in is f.a.q ,the dev said it was ok. Pretty sure coconut said he uses it too. Its good for long shot but useless for close ones,lots of times you see huntress main hit crazy snipes but miss a survivor thats 2 inches from them. So its ok not op. Idk why its like view as shame when they all use it. Also not straight like fps you still need to adjust for lobes and all. Anyways good video lol ❤

@SageClam I mean old shadowborn was just fov and new shadowborn is just a worse light born. Predator is actively detrimental because it removes scratch marks from the environment. Bloodhound could maybe get value but like barely cuz it's like only a little bit of tracking. Territorial imperative and the other perk barely gave value but could maybe get a tiny bit of value by either catching other survivors off guard in chase and knowing when survivors go to basement (in the first match Territorial went off and of they noticed it could've won them the game). Lullaby can be cleansed ye and if you're good with skill checks you might be fine anyway but like we saw in the first match it got a lot of slowdown and regression. They have arguably the two worst adeots but huntress has to be better than wraith
