Listening to someone who is passionate about what they are doing is always a treat to hear! Thank you to the falconer, the Falcons and the game warden!
One that got started talking about his birds in his work he so came out of his little bubble and you can just tell the smile on his face he really loves what he does he loves them Birds 💕
Listening to the cop talk kinda made me sad, you can tell that his mindset is already going to "let's see if we can take this guy to prison". Luckily that person is a legit falconer.
and they kill crops and cause disease every time they get into orchards they infect them with Septicemic Plague and Bird Flu without the falcons we lose our crops.
Your an idiot. Starlings do not attack other birds. They may bully other birds for nesting cavities but that's it. Starlings are peaceful insect and fruit eaters.
In the beginning I was like wtf bro he didn’t do anything wrong and towards the end I ended up liking the officer and he learned something new so good for both of us
That is really cool. As the falcon owner said, it’s the cheapest, and non invasive way to do it. I think it’s great. No poisons used. No damage to the vegetation.
Bet you love getting pulled over alot. See a guy with falcons, don't you wonder how he trains and uses them? Guy sounded pretty excited to explain how does it too.
Don't you think it was explained that the film crew were from Animal Planet?? Notice how he put a hat on and everything. He was more than happy to talk about his birds and explain what he and his birds do exactly.
I did some work experience for my certificate in Anima Care in college for a company called Hawkeye where they do the same thing out of Brampton Ontario, Canada.
I really don’t think this officer was trying to be intimidating or anything like that. It seemed as if he was genuinely interested in what the guy was doing. I mean, I really isn’t everyday you get to see a trained falcon in real life and talk to a falconer. I’d probably stop and take a second to ask a few questions myself. It’s an interesting sight To behold.
You know, I never thought about why cops tend to make so much small talk. I think it's because they need a break from being the bad guy and like the warden said, fining and arresting people all the time. I still won't talk to cops if I can avoid it, but I don't begrudge them taking up people's time chit-chating. They're human, too.
From what I hear, it's becoming more popular in the more rural areas where people rely on crops for a source of income to actually hire falconers to keep "pests" away from the crop. It's a money savior and people feel it's more humane.
"We come down and check on people to make sure they're not a bunch of garbage" Why say it like that? I mean fuck almost anything wouldve been better than that.
I think I ran into this guys apprentice with a red tail near Vancouver Lake, I was training search dogs and there this guy was, talked to him and he said he was an apprentice of the nearest Falconer in Yakima and I think that's where this guy is. I was scared the guy I ran intos bird was going to get attacked, there were some bald eagles eyeing him.
+Dean Counts eagles won't tangle with red tails, ground attack versus aerial superiority fighter, although the oddity is the eagle is depicted with the red tail's scream in most media today, could be the eagles goofy laugh
I am wondering what's the morality of keeping them standing with their heads covered for most of the time? Is it truly moral to keep them like that? I don't know, I am honestly asking.
Chico the Human The hoods on the birds are to keep the birds calm, keeps the bird from being stressed out by unfamiliar surroundings. They don't wear the hoods most of the time, only when they are out and not flying. Without the hoods they would be a lot more nervous and stressed.
Dude needs his own show I’d love to see his birds action
Glad he didn’t harass the guy he’s a legit bird handler just trying to train and get paid to do a job
He probably didn't harass the guy because the cameras were there.
@@bluegoose1342 Right, harassing people is actually just a job perk, but he can't indulge while the cameras are rolling.
Listening to someone who is passionate about what they are doing is always a treat to hear! Thank you to the falconer, the Falcons and the game warden!
3:44 "we share something"

so who's the cameraman with? the officer just took off. I guess he stopped and picked up the camera guy off screen.
I ask that same question whenever youtubers take shots of them driving away.
Jeff Wang they come back and get the camera
the question I ask isn't how, but why. I mean, once you realize that they have to come back for it, everything just seems so fake.
I thought of the same. The officer was in his car, ran a check on the guy, left the car, while the camera guy watches him leave 😂😂😂
He has his own car, the camerman isn't allowed to ride along with the policeman
starlings are little pricks they attack any other small birds around them
prince moonstone lil bitches but they run when a falcon gets near them.
and they kill crops and cause disease every time they get into orchards they infect them with Septicemic Plague and Bird Flu without the falcons we lose our crops.
@@geomodelrailroader you guys need to depopulate anyway.

They're protective parents
Notice how the cop approached the young fella, and just demanded he tell him about the bird.

The coolest way to take care of crops without killing other birds.
Thank You Sir Mr Falconer
I love the Karelian Bear Dog Pup running around! Looked just like mine when she was a baby.
In the beginning I was like wtf bro he didn’t do anything wrong and towards the end I ended up liking the officer and he learned something new so good for both of us
Its sad that the enforcement officer is not familiar with programs in his own area's program.
Its not everyday you walk up on someone who owns falcons.
What a cool guy.
I would love to see a series or just a video about that guys work, by him he seemed like a cool dude.
Awesome video,
beer cans in the fire. what a champ. Both of them
Nice interaction.
I thought it said cops and i thought it was some avengers shit
Very educational!
That is really cool. As the falcon owner said, it’s the cheapest, and non invasive way to do it. I think it’s great. No poisons used. No damage to the vegetation.
cool job
The falcon with the sleep goggles looks like a ninja turning around a psycho ready to say hello.
Now imagine having 3 dragons.
That bird is beautiful
Goals... Saker falcons are awesome. They're known for their never give up nature.
Luring... I learn something new every day. Thumbs up.
Can’t arrest him. Better waste his time instead.

Good cop. Kudos!!
I did some work experience for my certificate in Anima Care in college for a company called Hawkeye where they do the same thing out of Brampton Ontario, Canada.
Man thats sooo cool. Damn
where was this the area its beautiful
That’s fucking cool, having two Falcons by your side is a subliminal “don’t fuck with me” message. Lol!
and yet, he had better composure and a genuine interest in the animal rather than using them like a status symbol....GTFO
yeah, can't it just be cool? where do you see " don't ....me" are you on drugs?
Wow!
This is so cool
That's really cool.
Pretty cool officer.
I like that falconer, he's a good guy

Why is this called Rugged Justice?
Interesting
Just saw a falcon today eat a bird outside my window
I shot several starlings 15 years ago in my back yard. They Havent been back since. They will tell the youngsters no dont go there.
Why do barbary falcons look so similar to perigrines?

Similar to what Angela said, apparently the birds also have stupidly good eyesight and being in a car while it's driving would make them nauseous.
Mister awdkiwmajwdnawjda wish I had hawk eyesight, so I could spot my next girlfriend a mile away!
