When I was taking flight lessons my instructor made me fly home using only my feet. This sounds sort of similar. I've always wondered how much horses feel from their partner's feet, legs and seat and if they react.
My father used to do this with his favourite horse-with the neck-rope on him like you do, and bareback. They had partnered for many years, and I was always awestruck when they rode like this. Thanks for bringing back those memories. 😊

This is so exiting!! I had a lesson on my horse yesterday and my instructor took his bridle off and put it around his neck! I never would have thought I could do that because we don’t have a indoor or outdoor arena! All we have is a field surrounded by barbed wire😕
Your other clip hasn’t got comments switched on but I will say that when you jump poles and canter he looks like a arm chair you no very comfortable to see and I bet he feels good also 😊

Where did you get your neck rope? I just use a lead rope around my horse’s neck but only in walk because it’s not safe if it just comes off
