- Part 8 of a drive from New York City to Los Angeles from July 8, 2023 - July 22, 2023. This part starts in Louisville, Colorado and ends in a rest stop in Edwards, Colorado. I originally wanted to take I-70 but Google Maps redirected me to US-6 due to traffic. I got to see some amazing sights along Clear Creek, Black Hawk, and Central City before returning to I-70. The entire drive was very gorgeous, and may be among some of the most scenic along my entire trip.

You brought me very nice memories from my road trip in USA that I did in september. We tok the RV from Denver and bought groceries for the first few days in the Superior Plaza, you drove nearby at the begining of the video. After 3.5 weeks we returned to Denver over I-70, spending the last night in Central City. However, we drove just on I-70 and Central City Parkway, you took the US 6 and then drove over Black Hawk, was very nice to see this road too. Thanks for the video, greetings from a road-tripper from Germany!

Loved seeing you drive through the areas I used to live in. The area (Superior / Louisville) is where a massive fire was a year or so ago - destroyed 1,000 homes

AK going back to Electric cars yes I agree careful planning would be needed. You would need to find hotels along the route that have that option. Many do not yet have it and it something for hotels to invest in to attract customers.

Frustrating start for you with traffic at the beginning. I'm surprised Google maps had you go up that way. Glad you enjoyed it anyway though.
There was just a lot of congestion going out west on a Saturday morning. At least Google Maps sent me through the scenic way!
