Nice vid, back in the seventies I used to drive a shunting engine into the old wool stores to pick up bales of wool, then unload the wagons at Leighton marshaling yard, then shunt the empties back.
It's great to see Perth filling in and growing up in the suburbs like Canning Bridge / Applecross + being busy on the weekends. Very much a "mini" Sydney, though not so mini these days with the population around 2.4 million.

I agree. Many people complain about it, but Perth doesn't need to maintain its large country town image if we're going to keep growing.
Metro hotel @19.05 used to be called the Hurlingham hotel originally. Changed name about 30 years ago. Had a big neon pink pig 🐖 sign
