The reason British fairground rides go clockwise is nothing to do with Napoleon, it dates back to the time of knights on horseback when you held the reins in your left hand and your sword in the right so you could fight and we still use that system even with driving on the left. The tune on the first Decap organ is "Una Marcia in Fa" arranged by Eugene Peersman.
