you don't have to complete the hand for the bonus... bonus is always separate.
“Always” is a strong word because here you DO have to complete the hand in order to play the Trips

I got into the same issue at Cache Creek. I always thought Trips was a separate bet from the Ante/Play.
At 17:23 he paid you an ante bet when he didn't qualify. Karma for the trips rule.

That is a crock that you have to complete the hand to get the trips. That is a side bet. Same as 6 card bonus on 3 card poker.

Have faith. You will win big on first hand soon. I also have been losing my first hand almost every time, however got lucky few weeks ago and was playing $25 on trips and ante and hit quads on very first hand! I am sure you will do even better than that very soon.

Ship casinos always have some crazy rule to give them a bigger edge.
The legitimate casinos would never require you to play in order to win a trips bet. The bet is designed to be separate from the main bet.

Most casinos you don't have to complete the bet to get the trips however there are a few casinos that make you do that, there is one out here that I play at that you do have to complete the bet

Dealer is wrong. You do not need to make a play bet if your hand is a loser but the board shows a bonus.

Also i think that since you lose the first hand everytime you should just play minimum on every 1st hand going forward and then take the difference and add it to the 2nd normal betting hand

I am Loving the cruise videos!! Just curious, how do you tip at the tables, since tips on the cruise are normally prepaid. The dealers look like they do such a great job.
Tipping the dealers are just like at a normal casino . I played for 3 hours this day and filmed a bunch of videos. I tipped her later that evening while I played off camera.

He knew he was getting paid on the trips spot if he played. I don’t want to go back to check the bet amounts but I think it was something like pay 25 to guarantee a 45 dollar payment on the trips with a small chance of winning everything, it made sense to play (since the dealer required the complete for some reason)

When u play the board... The dealer is using the same board. Both times you had a 3 2. Isn't it a given that the dealer is going to have higher than a 3 / 2?
Could have pushed…even if the dealers hand was higher than the 3/2 but lower than the board. I think that’s why players play the board…I’m no expert though 😉
