This has been a dead event for years, and now the rare rewards that were hard to get are now available from mutated packs and so now are common. (Bear arm plan and mods etc) I do love this event but you need teamwork to succeed. I did it a few times but only for the backpack skin. The best rewards need all 3 animals to survive at the end and that’s always been the problem, people don’t cooperate to even fill up the 3 containers, usually 1 or 2 get filled, locking out out of the rare loot, but as I said, rare loot is now from mutated packs so you’ll get it there now or buy from player vendors. A while back Bethesda did rebalance this event so it takes less stuff to collect for the containers, so if you have a couple of friends who get this event down, it can go smoothly. It is really fun event though when people show up. Thanks rifle for showing new players how to shut down the experiment to unlock the backpack. It’s worth doing if you need the nuclear winter rewards, as now this the only place you can those specific rewards. Use the perk friendly fire in charisma and any weapon that has fire damage and you can heal up the animals.
Excellent Vlog as always. I have had that backpack from 5 years ago and it’s the only place to get it, you only get it once and you can’t sell or transfer the plan. Over the years I have been getting players in game messages me “we’re did you get the backpack”. Keep up the great work and great to see you back 👍👍👍
The biggest reason to do this one that you didn’t mention is it gets you the most treasury notes of any public event if you do it perfectly. It’s really too bad no one does this one.

I haven't done this event in a while, bc I hadn't seen a lot of players doing it anymore. Hopefully your video gets people motivated to do it more often.
Sometimes, I'll see people actually do this event, but more often than not, no one bothers. I suppose it's because, at this point, most of the older players have already done it a hundred times and have everything and newer players might have tried it one of the times no one else joined and failed the event horribly.
its a great place to farm when there's not an event going on plus you defiantly want to get Formula P if you're playing a sniper build. the crit bar recharges faster the faster it recharges the more you can crit. If a player's Luck is 33 or higher, the critical bar will fill every two shots. so its worth it. btw if you dont get habitat C's filled at all your friendly creature is a bloatfly.
One big thing you forgot. There should be one player in each section, with a flame weapon, and the Friendly Fire card equipped, to help keep the friendly animals health up. This is a fun event, but it takes a precise team effort to complete it sucessfully.
As a fairly new player I have been wanting to do this event for stimpack diffuser amongst other plans. Tried it solo and didnt stand a chance. Hopefully this vid brings players. Great post rifle
Not many players got to play or liked Nuclear Winter 😂 those who did got the armor. A little thing me and my server group like to do during Public Boss fights are using the Diffuser as Healers, Supports use that new Eletric Pistol that does a stun wave combined with Perks to make the radius bigger.
One of my favorite events. I also go through the shutdown code process just incase. With friendly fire it makes it so much easier too. Wish more people played it.

Used A vampire flaming chainsaw on this event last night with "friendly fire" perk, seems to work on the spawned NPC, could use a flamer as well, to keep the spawned NPC's alive and toped off with health. Best plan ever has a chance to drop, "stempack defuser" is a must have its awesome!
Great info Rifle, I've failed this event more times than passed due to lack of players, but I did manage together the backpack one time! It's definitely an underrated event!
I LOVE THIS EVENT, thank you so much for showcasing it. A few details on my personal approach: 1: clear the building while waiting for others to join but you should mentally prepare yourself for a solo show. 2: If somebody does join, don't expect them to contribute at all. This philosophy greatly reduces frustration for me. 3: I always use the shutdown code, can't say for sure it makes it easier, but I think it does. 4: Fill "A" first, then the one with the Glowing Radkelp ("B" I think). You should be able to fill those 2. 5: I try to keep the Mirelurk King alive but if the Deathclaw starts taking serious damage I run over there and protect it for the duration. 6: Friendly Fire perk card, use it. 7: Expect players to join near the end, which will cause all the enemies to respawn and kill your test subjects. Doesn't happen every time but being mentally prepared for this helps reduce frustration when it results in event fail. Reminder, if somebody does join, dont expect them to contribute, they're probably trying to figure out what's going on.
As a old school 76 player I've done this event so many times and you are right about that and if you can share friendly fire with your teammates that helps as long as they know about it helping 😊
the amount of times in events people just sit there is ridiculous lol. they go afk until the event is over and then just dip mainly the higher levels too.
A sizable part of the blame for PP being so unpopular has to rest at the feet of other F76 streamers and youtubers, specifically MrWestTek comes most readily to mind, who might not specifically discourage others from doing the event, but crap on it hard enough to give it an unfair reputation.
You forgot to mention that Friendly Fire works on the friendly creatures. And that the turrets will help distract them away from the friendly creatures, so make sure to repair them.

o nice, im a brand new player, started just over 2 weeks ago, did the event for the 1st time and got the Inferno Mark 1 plans, i had no idea wtf i was doing in this event tho
This is one of the events that always feels like a 3-6 player minimum for best results, though most of the slow down is navigating the maze like area. Edit: unless they changed it there's a chance for the friendly creature to be a ghoul, bloatfly, or bloodbug aswell. Though I don't know if that's all possible creatures.
FINALLY !!! I have always loved this event. Yes, there are steps to this and it's not just a show up and shoot sht event but it is definitely worth doing. I wish I had seen this earlier before I got on today because in my 600 hours of playing 76 I have never joined this event until this morning. Typically nobody joins so neither do i, but when I saw half a dozen players pop in I decided to give it a shot, and of course I had no idea what I was doing. LOL Now I know for next time what to do, and definitely will try your secrets to see what I end up getting. I only got the lab coat and the stimpak diffuser plans this time.

This event is a whole lot easier now as long as someone has friendly fire equipped. Between Holy Fire and The Cremator, friendlies should not die at all.
Most of the time players just help one animal survive, but lately all animals survived on the event. Most players was new players, so good on them for saving all the animals. Got the red hellfire power armor skin then, but it only works on old power armors, not the t-65 or newer.
We used to play it every time when it first came out. Definitely need at least 8 players to have a real chance at sabing all three creatures. Remember figuring out the door code to the basement to get the shut down key...used to love it, do widh more people would play it
Hi Dami, I love your videos exploring these different concepts and ideas. Along with hive and mega structures, what do you think about the idea of colony ships or space stations? Places that have to be designed for long term sustainability or things to provide a population the means to establish themselves in a new location. Even piggybacking on the popularity of something like the vaults from Fallout. Would to know what you think about things like that.
I got the Shi Missile Launcher paint awhile back but I didn't remember where I got it from. I've done Project Paradise a few times in the past so I guess that's where I got it from lol.

The problem is that most people skip it. Best place to harvest Kaleidoscope plants. Only plan that ever dropped for me was "Formula P" - several times. Never had any of the others.

This is one of the harder ones, which does cause a lot of players to stay away. With the influx of new players this month though, more and more are joining all events. But like you pointed out, they don't know what to do. Several low level players, 40 and lower were in the event, but only stayed in one habitat. Same with other events like Guided Mediation and Uranium Fever. When objectives were damaged, no one ran to repair them. Hopefully these new players find your channel and learn how to run the events.
Playing as a group of 3 and we always server hop until we find a server where people do the events. Then we start farming instead of trying to solo everything.
Can also get the mark iii power armor somewhere. I just found it in my invintory one day. Its the same as mark 2 except all those liitle barbs and wire look red hot
I want to have more events like this, with secret boss, higher difficult and unique reward. In this game that do sound very nice. It will be cool if all of the events with picture got things like this. The community could come up with ideas, and sins Fallout 76 are so popular right now that means Bethesda should have more people working on this. 👍 I also want rank up reward for Brotherhood of Steele and the medical club people in that white house at the golf ⛳. Having the ability to "item trade" should also be a option in this game.
I know of another event that no one ever does anymore free range where from what I hear can you can get a throwable weapon playing made from the spines of the Sheepsquatch
Bear arm plans are in treasure hunter pails, aren't they? Formula P is a good money maker if you don't actually use it, and using it could make npc purchases cheaper. Good for junkies too
As the event is so complicated and you can't just solo it and still get the best rewards as defending all three creatures solo is near impossible, most players skip it. Since most of it's exclusive rare rewards like the plans for Bear Arm + Mods and Stimpak diffuser are now available via Mutated Events and much easier to get there, there is even less incentive to do the event. As the nuclear winter skins are not tradeable there is also no benefit for veterans for doing this event.
G'day RG, It's a great event but unfortunately with my luck on PS the event rarely has a lot of people attending it, Hm I guess down to only doing it a few times over the years I never knew of the backpack skin requirements. Anywho I rarely do the event especially now that I do have the Formula P recipe which I inadvertently found sold for 300 caps & have since made nearly 40k caps with. I'm getting back into Fo76 & have a crew by my side so we may once more try doing this event (plus getting to share greenthumb with my allies so we can pick those plants during the event so I may make more Formula P).

Yes you really need a friendly fire player at each section. Most higher level players I know couldn't be bothered with this event.

I have 1200+ hours in 76 on PlayStation. Ive only done this event a handfull of times. Nobody ever goes there to do it on PlayStation it seems. 😢

The "Friendly Fire" charisma perk also works with the friendly animals so you can heal them by hitting them with flame weapons

Yeah, you get those friendly creatures to spawn if you don't completely fill the trough with 30 or higher.

Can also get the mark iii power armor somewhere. I just found it in my invintory one day. Its the same as mark 2 except all those liitle barbs and wire look red hot
I never knew about the secret and Iplayed 76 at the start.
I want to have more events like this, with secret boss, higher difficult and unique reward. In this game that do sound very nice. It will be cool if all of the events with picture got things like this. The community could come up with ideas, and sins Fallout 76 are so popular right now that means Bethesda should have more people working on this. 👍
I also want rank up reward for Brotherhood of Steele and the medical club people in that white house at the golf ⛳.
Having the ability to "item trade" should also be a option in this game.
Just finished meeting minimum requirements for my PA Flamer Paladin. Friendly Fire + my vamp napalmer will make this a breeze
I know of another event that no one ever does anymore free range where from what I hear can you can get a throwable weapon playing made from the spines of the Sheepsquatch

Formula P is a good money maker if you don't actually use it, and using it could make npc purchases cheaper. Good for junkies too

I don't think people realize that Formula P can basically make their guns laser accurate, with no spread at all 😍
As the event is so complicated and you can't just solo it and still get the best rewards as defending all three creatures solo is near impossible, most players skip it. Since most of it's exclusive rare rewards like the plans for Bear Arm + Mods and Stimpak diffuser are now available via Mutated Events and much easier to get there, there is even less incentive to do the event. As the nuclear winter skins are not tradeable there is also no benefit for veterans for doing this event.
From the beyond event makes me want to rip my eyes out bro 😂 the enemies are so stupidly strong
Hopefully this resurgence in the game will push Bethesda into giving 76 a next gen facelift

It's a great event but unfortunately with my luck on PS the event rarely has a lot of people attending it, Hm I guess down to only doing it a few times over the years I never knew of the backpack skin requirements.
Anywho I rarely do the event especially now that I do have the Formula P recipe which I inadvertently found sold for 300 caps & have since made nearly 40k caps with.
I'm getting back into Fo76 & have a crew by my side so we may once more try doing this event (plus getting to share greenthumb with my allies so we can pick those plants during the event so I may make more Formula P).
No one does this event anymore. Over the last few weeks, I have hit it up every time it pops to get the stimpak recipe, and no one else joined it.
I just want thr stimpack diffuser plan. But nobody does the event.
