I have my cold confidant at Rank 10 but my only issue with the gem is that it doesn’t trigger the Freeze effect from the End Winter Green Set

For me Viper's Bite is still better. If Cold Confidant summons the Ice crystal where there are lots of AOE. It will not last the whole duration. It can also be avoided once summoned.
