I can understand it if VS doesn’t wanna the fragrance to be focused super heavily on the chocolate scent, but…..considering the name, the chocolate scent should still be what we mainly smell, and it should smell a bit more gourmand. I would assume that most of the people who’ll end up buying it, are buying it because of the name and because they wanna smell like chocolate for the most part….so, for VS to make this fragrance with very little chocolate in it, or for the actual scent to not be that prominent……a bit disappointing.
Agree… 😕 I think the drydown eventually gets to a more gourmand scent, but it’s still faint and not as sweet as I’d prefer. It also takes a while to get to that point.
@@claireinbloom yessss!!! Like with a name like Cocoa Soirée…..I wanna smell almost like Hershey’s chocolate, mixed with a bit of fruitiness…..not mainly fruit, and a bit of chocolate.
I think this scent is one of those perfumes that will get sweeter with time as it ages within my collection. I prefer layering it with Coco Coffee lotion by Pink...it really brings out the sweetness.
I'm always looking forward to your reviews, you truly help inform my decisions regarding whether a fragrance is worth considering. Thank you for your amazing analysis. Currently, VS is having a $15 sale on all the fragrance mists including this one, and I thought that was a great affordable way to test it out. I'm waiting for my order to arrive, along with the new VS Cashmere collection that just debuted. Regarding Tease Cocoa Soiree, the first thing I thought of when I heard it had a strong freesia opening was Wicked! I found it so interesting that you mentioned this, since I was thinking the same thing. I sort of wish VS wouldn't add this sharp freesia note like they do. I love the vanilla in Wicked, and I think I will really enjoy the berries and cocoa in the new Tease. It's just slightly frustrating that we have to fight through the freesia to enjoy the best part of the fragrance. 😂
That’s just how I feel…once the freesia softens in Wicked it’s so amazing! I really like the drydown of Tease Cocoa Soirée, I just wish it didn’t take so long to get there, and that it was stronger and with more mocha!
It's so interesting to hear many reviewers say it smells like berries. I received it 3 days ago and have been testing it since. On my skin it initially smells fruity (but not exactly berry-like) and then after about 10 minutes in transforms into a very soft vanilla infused cream (I suppose its the chantilly cream mentioned in the official website) powdered with a little bit of cocoa powder and the fruitiness gets numbed down almost completely. It's there only to give it a spark and differentiate it from vanilla perfumes. Oh btw it lasted more than my 8hr shift, so longevity is a matter of each person's skin I guess! However if I spray in on fabric the fruitiness and florals stay for way longer amd after many hours it settles to the creamy scent that I get in my skin. The same on paper!
I got the roller ball, but I was expecting a chocolate scent. I love the packaging so I might wait until it goes on sell to purchase and use on my vanity.
Opening reminds me of pure seduction. Not as strong but definitely smell the freesia. Not as candy smelling. But the berries are strong at first. Then it dies down. It lasts on skin hours but its very light. I like it. It goes well layered with vanilla fragrances and vs candy nior.
I wish they would have made it sweeter and a little more gourmand. I do still want it but I think I will wait for a fragrance sale. What do your pair your Nest Cocoa woods with? I got it a few months back and not sure how I feel about it. It’s pretty strong and not what I thought it would be. I may end up giving it away if I can’t make it work but I love the bottle. 😂
Thanks for sharing this! I picked up Tease Sugar Fleur last year and was very happy with it. I hope I'll enjoy this scent as well. BTW....will you be reviewing Burberry Goddess?? I'm really liking this new perfume. I think it's a very sophisticated vanilla. Not a childish vanilla.... Anyway, love your vids as always!💖💝💗
I drove 30 mins to the mall to smell this today. It’s very MID. It’s very berry forward with little cocoa. I’m a cocoa freak and this was definitely disappointing, I don’t get the hype. It’s not chocolately like the name and packaging would suggest. And the cocoa is more like a coffee scent VS pure chocolate
I’ve tried something once and liked it but didn’t later - I love this one but I feel like it’s very similar to Chai Eclair (not the current Epice’) - do you know if they are similar? Oh and what about Cream Cloud? I wonder about layering them.
I bought it yesterday! I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it. It’s a really pretty subtle scent. I plan to layer it with Autumn Shore this fall! 🤎🍫
I did too at first (although I did get the berries), but the cocoa eventually came out. I wish it didn’t take so long though, and that it was more prominent. 😕

I’m sure I will buy this. I love anything with chocolate/cocoa notes. Hopefully it sweetens with time.

I’m hoping so! That’s a great idea to layer it with a coffee lotion.
Does it work with choco musk or other coffee scented lotions like autumn shore?
I bought the bundle yesterday and I love the scent. After the dry down I smell some of the chocolate.
It’s definitely more noticeable in the dry down! 🙂
Dry down reminds me of cocoa puffs.
I ordered the rollerball in this. Enjoyed hearing your thoughts ❤
Can’t wait to hear what you think! 😬
Thanks for your wonderful review ❤
I waited for the rollerball sale for this one as well. They’re $7 and of course you’re spot on. ❤
Thanks so much!
I just ordered the bundle deal for $95.00. It was a blind buy so I hope I like it. I also got the new cashmere collection.
😉

Thank you! This saved me from buying another fragrance I won’t reach for much. I’ll stick to Orchidee Vanille and Changing Constance this fall

Just picked this up last night
Your reviews are so good and thorough! I just saw this yesterday and was looking for your opinions on it!
Thanks so much! ☺️
Have you seen the new Victoria's Secret Cashmere fragrance mist collection? They look so good :)
Very soon… 😉
Still love the OG Tease..keep the bag😂 thanks for a good descriptive review 😊

I also think Cocoa Woods is a bit strong…I haven’t worn it much but I think adding a sweet creamy vanilla scent would make it better.

I’m not sure if I’ll do a video, but I reviewed Burberry Goddess briefly on my Instagram (same name). 🙂
Hey friends 🤗 new Victoria scents cocoa series perfume collection review and bundle deal mini love ❤️
Really love it❤❤❤❤
I think it's just perfect for me 😍
Hope you love it! 😀
THANKS FOR SHARING

I definitely expected more cocoa. 😕 I’d recommend Clinique My Happy Cocoa & Cashmere as an alternative.
Is that one coco soire scent long lasting and noticable like tease and bombshell intense or is it ligth?
I think it has decent lasting power but it isn’t a super heavy scent. The regular Tease is a bit stronger to me.
@@claireinbloomThank you
Would you describe this scent as being in the family of Chanel Coco Mademoiselle?
I only have the Intense version of CM, and it feels more citrusy and vanillic than the lighter, creamier TCS. Hope that helps!
These are difficult to get in the Netherlands
😢
Off topic but does anyone know if bombshell isle is limited edition?
The summer Bombshells are always limited edition. 😬
@@claireinbloom Thanks, I love it so much, I’m going to buy another so I have extras.
♥️♥️♥️💫

Sorry I’ve not tried Chai Eclair, but I did compare TCS to Crème Cloud in the video.
😀🙌
NOT A FAN OF TEASE PERFUMES
This smells so much like VS scandalous to me. A fruity floral gourmand with heavy berries
I love Scandalous! That one is more dark syrupy raspberry to me, so I didn’t make a connection but I can see how the composition is similar. 🙂
I bought it yesterday! I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it. It’s a really pretty subtle scent. I plan to layer it with Autumn Shore this fall! 🤎🍫
That sounds like a nice combo! 🙂
I plan to do the same! I love autumn shore.
I grabbed the roller ball when they released it. It smells good... but does not last at all.😢💔😤
Yes it is really light. ☹️

I was heavily disappointed with this one. I got absolutely no berries or mocha, Just straight up freesia. Powdery freesia at that 🥲
I did too at first (although I did get the berries), but the cocoa eventually came out. I wish it didn’t take so long though, and that it was more prominent. 😕
