The only mistake David made was staying on the street where everybody shits on him! He's actually quite sane all things considered, especially in more recent years!
I love how david’s personality has been consistent all these years. Yes he’s had a troubled childhood and teenhood, but he’s come out the end even today one of the best characters on the street. He’s had so much happen to him (his step dad nearly murdered him, his wife was stabbed, he has epilepsy, he tried to commit su****e, he was r***d) and he’s also done awful things and been to prison (but so has everyone else) but he’s not a horrible bloke, just been pushed to breaking point several times. He’s funny, sarccy, good with kids and protective of those he loves. The Platts and their chaotic family dynamic is solid and close as ever.
