This hair tutorial is a beautiful topsy tail ponytail, perfect as a Wedding Hairstyle, Prom Hairstyle, Homecoming Hairstyle and for everyday!
This hairstyle is another throw back to my childhood, the good old topsy tail ponytail. There’s actually a tool you can purchase to help you perfect it, but hopefully this tutorial is helpful enough that you can do it on your own. I love this hairstyle in particular because it looks intricate but is quite simple once you get the hang of it. It’s so easy to create different looks according to your personal style, be it, curly for a dinner party, or sleek and straight for an everyday look (my go-to). I know you usually do hairstyles for long hair, which I've tried all on my daughter. Unfortunately we have had to cut her hair shoulder length and I was hoping you could show us hairstyles for short/medium length. I personally think she looks cute with any length hair but she feels like she looks like a boy.

I'm confused. What does this have to do with the Topsy Tail kit?
It doesn't say anything about the 'kit'. The topsy tail is a hairstyle and doesn't require the kit.

Teresa Mikelson you could get the actual topsy tail tool to help you pull the hair through. I think they sell them everywhere now. Not sure if that would help but I hope it does 😊

Spent 40 minutes trying to do this. By the time I got the basic structure down it looked nothing like yours, it looked awful really. Ended up having to throw hair in a ponytail. "So simple to do, especially if you're someone that has a hard time doing your own hair, then this is a hairstyle for you." Guess there's no hope for me 😭My hair is about as long as yours, but it's thin and fine hair that apparently refuses to do freaking anything!

If you want to give the style another shot, maybe prep with some texturizing spray and/or curling your hair before doing the style? :)
