Christmas 2013, I was drowning. Me and my ex split up. I had no job, no prospects, had to move back with my Mom, my Dad had just died in June. I was miserable. But I knew I couldn’t just drift and die. I slowly worked at rebuilding my life. Christmas 2022, I have a beautiful wife, 2 wonderful kids, a great job, a nice house my family can come over and enjoy Christmas at. I’m nobody, guys. Nothing makes me better than you. You might be at your lowest today, but with some faith, some hard work, some luck, and time, you’ll be higher than you could possibly imagine. I truly want that for everyone that’s struggling today. I think the issue with people giving Tom so much crap about what he is buying. Sometimes, it sounds like they forgot what made their stuff awesome. We don't want to hear all the sweet stuff you're buying or how much money you have. We are here for comedy, to hear a joke and forget about life's problems. That's why I love you uncle Joey, you never forgot where ya came and you know what you're fans want. They want great stories and things to know, things get dark but keep your head up and things will work out.
Tom and Joey are the same. Tom is totally focused on comedy, it was just a minority of losers who hate their lives and got so jealous they projected a flex that Tom was making that wasn't even there. Their loss, same for when Joey mentions he found a penny on the street and they flip out and turn on him.
