The 2021 MINI GP doesn't have a manual transmission. It has an 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission. So it's weird that Forza has it set up that you need to use a clutch in it. It's not even a DCT automatic. It's a standard automatic transmission with a torque converter.
7:28 I was the one that ran right into Hords. One second, I was looking behind me, and they were upside down immediately after! May have poo'd myself a bit, but it's easily my favorite VSTC race I've taken part in so far
The first race was truly awesome, not had a smile on my face like that since the last time I went to Kings Lynn on a Saturday night to watch the Brisca F1's.

Minis aren't British anymore. They were sold to a company in Germany and are built there. I had high hopes that the new maker would be able to figure out their quirks and make them become a dependable car. Oh well. Still junk. I had an early 60's Mini when I was stationed in the Azores in late 91-92. 980cc in line 4 with powder blue paint. Besides my 76 TR6 these were the two best little British cars I ever owned. Best little British cars should be an oxy moron.
I'd really like to know longbow's take on whether or not he was unexpectably early on the brakes there, because I certainly didn't expect him to break that early and much, either.
It's hard to judge in the moment tbh, maybe. I'm not sure it would have made any difference on that shallow a line. The Audi liked to swap ends under braking
Aren't Minis built in and owned by Germany now? I remember Ford bought Jaguar. Great little British designed built in Germany pieces of crap. Electrics are crap. Not reliable. WAY overpriced.

It's because they don't simulate having an automatic/DCT/sequential separately from being able to adjust ratios. It's one or the other
Mini videos get an automatic like from me. I love driving my JCW irl.
In that last race, not one time in seven laps did Alex get the chicane right.

I fall asleep to fail race video's. Love falling asleep to alex racing.
Do you play in SDR or HDR?
I'll be going to Brands Hatch this weekend, wonder if we'll get Derrick turning up?
Imagine the race with Derrick running around.

I wouldn’t have waited for a single second.
Well, at least you're consistent.
Im sure it was very hard to drive but that was v painful to watch
How many of those Audis are going to leak oil on the already soaked track?
You know i was just thinking didnt u do challenges with that rhyyysss guy what happened to him the offensive blue car??
If you run manual clutch, its actually quicker to double clutch lol
Is it just me or does Alex need to set his accelerator trigger up better? It always seems to be either zero of 100%.
Minis 🥰
Longbow should have waited for you, it kinda destabilized you before braking...

Is this Xbox? Just curious about the frame rate. My PC is running this game better.
Shame you don't use the corners' actual names instead of "turn one" (Paddock), "turn 2" (Druids), "final corner" (Clark) etc.
oh look, it was longbow again,.. **yawn**
One of the best videos of all time.
(just wanted to be first for the first time ever, gonna watch right now. SOrry)

Mini has been owned by bmw sense the 90s, but I think they are still built in England. I'm open to correction on that part, though
The factory in the Netherlands is closing down the built the mini too
Over engineered POS. Like people really want an AM/FM air conditioner clock speedometer WTF?
