There also was a special animation for the "Animated Doll" tiny thingy, it would say "For 30 euros, I'll become your friend." and have lifelike motions. And after grabbing her, the rabbid would shake her and bash her head against the cart once, then, this sick fucker, amused by the sound it made, repeatedly hit her head against the cart, and the doll made that noise as it's head bobbled back and forth...it...it...THEY fucking KILLED her, and then they threw her corpse in the cart with the others. Even back then, I thought it was kind of effed up, but thinking about it now, I'm genuinely shaking and crying. I may have mental issues having more empathy for fictitious inanimate objects (thank you for that, Deep Rock Galactic) than NPCs, but those rabbids were fucking sociopaths, and I personally hope that my headcanon of them not having a proper title release is due to the Rabbids Go Home Pest Control's victory and that the lot of them died a slow and excruciating death, with their appearance in Mario Rabbids being that whatever survivors learned to know their fucking place and adapt to their new universe rather than fucking around and find out.
