I am so glad I found your channel. I live in Australia and feel I am back in England with you, knitting and happy hearing your wise words. I would be lost without you.
Look at coco Knits needle stoppers. I think they'll be exactly what you need 🤞🙂 I love your videos, I watch every one. Thanks for putting them up so often x
Thankyou for your reply Sheila. I know what you mean about all them stitches on the needle. I’ve nearly finished a blanket for my daughter which had 163 stitches but I’ve got to knit my other daughter a shawl which has 212 stitches, it does make my hands ache but it’s worth it. LoL 😊
Hiya Shelia luv nice to see you , we have been like you a few lovely days , we expecting all next week rain for us an had a look at weather for up your way for next week some sun and showers all week but it never does what it says 😂 I managed to cut my grass an now paying the price av got a bad spine with bulging vertebrae’s so they trap my sciatic nerve and now I’m suffering to walk or move the pain is awful doing that with those needles good idea as I knit like u an all the weight goes on the needle that u av on ur arm it’s a right pain , but now I will do that as I’m always knitting my cat new blankets 🐈⬛I laugh when u mention doing some knitting for your self pigs might fly 🤣🤣 the blanket fab looks very cosy , I love the pale lemon for ryan
I think someone has already suggested using a set of interchangeable needles Sheila. You would need two cords, attaching one cord to each needle and putting the stopper on the other end. I took a while to get used to circulars, but I now enjoy knitting top down jumpers in the round, adding the sleeves after. Your work is beautiful!
A set of interchangeable circular needles is very er expensive, and still we would need two long cords, whereas if we buy one pair of long malleable needles whatever size, we can knit as many blankets as we fancy with that particular tension.
Sheila I have a set of zing interchangeable circular needles. They come with cords and stoppers. You put a needle one end and a stopper the other. I have the set that goes up to 8mm.
Sorry just spelled Rihanna name wrong an pressed the wrong thing to defeat was just going to say they will be lovely in lemon and zoom it was gone I’m hopeless nearly ready to go on your next blanket bye take care and happy Easter 💕💕😘

92 sts, 8mm needles, start with 6 rows garter st, then k4,(p2,k2,) to last 4sts, k4. for 3 rows, then change the p2,k2, to k2, p2, for 3 more rows, keep on going till it measure 29" knit 5 rows garter st and cast off. 28x30 is what mine measures..
Hello Sheila, that pink black berry cardigan is lovely. I love the baby blanket to, it looks big. Do you think it’s to big for a pram? I want to do that blanket for both my daughters.

What a brilliant idea with the circular needles!! I can never get on with them.
Hi Sheila, great video - take care :)
I feel the exact same way about circulars. I like your idea!
Perhaps a mini hair clip/claw and a piece of leather from a furniture free sample pack for a mid cable stopper?
Happy Easter. That is a great idea.
Loving that blanket Sheila 😍

How about a large wooden bead on the end for stoppers? Just a thought!
Have a lovely Easter weekend everyone 😊
Enjoy your Easter Sheila 😊

Don't cut the other needle off--Just poke it into a cork, like I do! Instant needle stopper, and it's lightweight.

Glue a bead on the end...there you have it.
Knitpro cables come with a stopper !!

I am very relaxed when i am knitting Marie..🤗
How many Stitches have you put on for the blanket

If you want to make it smaller cast on a few less sts and a bit shorter length, i had 92sts the size is 30"x28" 8mm needles..
Sheila, you have to invent it?
I’ll send you a photo
I don't like circulars either! Hate them with a passion. So slow . I knit very fast tucking my needle under my right arm.
l don't like using circuiter needles either try not to use them Sheila only used them a couple of times x
