That's how we used to do it. We used to be grown up and resilient enough to understand that just because someone says something we don't like, that doesn't mean they need to be burned at the stake. You don't like that particular joke? Then don't laugh at it. Maybe you'll enjoy the next one. Or not. But for fuck's sake don't try to say the comedian should be cancelled because you didn't like that one joke.
