The biggest mosque in Brunei Darrusalam

The Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque is a mosque in Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of Brunei. It is one of two national mosques, the other being Omar Ali Saifuddien.
History:
The Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque is the endowment of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, 29 and current Sultan of Brunei. Construction began in 1988 on a 20-hectare plot of land located in Kiarong. The mosque was inaugurated on July 14, 1994 by the sultan who attended the Maghrib and Isha prayers in conjunction with the 48th anniversary of his reign.
Building:
It can accommodate 5,000 worshipers at a time, making it the largest mosque in the country.
The mosque has 29 golden domes and four minarets with a height of 58 meters (190 m).
