    I must "reduce" video for 0,75 speed , to try "reduce" his fast talk, and finally I understand how planetary gears "reducer" is work, great video

    Can you make a tutorial on how to draw an optimized structural diagram and ray diagram of gearbox

    I want to help you with something, when you speak, take a "one onethousand" between sentences. it takes a sec for what your saying to be comprehended by the listener, especially this kinda thing.

      Totally agree. It's difficult to digest all the information when speaking at this pace.

    With the planetary gears when you write ( (nL - nA)/(nF - nA) ), is the speed of the first gear (nF) referring to the gear it rotates about at its base? or is it generally the driving gear that creates the motion?

      @LessBoringLectures  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Gear that drives the system. However, if you set up the equation correctly (meaning, you keep the n to N ratios inversely proportional, and not worry about what is defined as train value "e"), it doesn't matter which one you define as first and last gear.

    Just a confusion pointer.
    you claim that n5 = (N4*N2/N5*N4)*n2 but isn't n5 influenced by the angular speed of the arm n3?

  • @notime4lag624
    @notime4lag624 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    on 7:30 if (n2-n3)/(n5-n3)=n2/n5 doesnt n3 has to be 0 for that to be true?pls help me super confused

    • @LessBoringLectures
      @LessBoringLectures  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah, it's not literally equal to n2/n5. Should be an "equivalent to", for calculation purposes.

    First education video I have had to slow down because you talk so fast. Watching the video is stressful 😅
