I'd bet money one of the biggest reasons they fired him is because his actions drew more attention to SBI and what they were doing. I do not think for one minute that this will change SBI, their practices or their intentions. They've likely chosen to throw him under the bus and will probably tell studios that he was mainly to blame when this ideology is a company wide problem. The truth is no true creative or artist needs a consultation firm.

After a while, someone is going to get angry and will want him fired. That's the main reason he's fired. Also, wouldn't surprise me if they warned him to stop and he got an attitude with someone in a higher position than him and they finally lost their patience and fired him.

I made a video on "sensitivity readers" - very much the same scam in the book world. They are not writers, editors, subject experts, marketers, or anything else useful. They claim all those functions, but are nothing bot con artists.

I'm not convinced that she actually engages in that type of behavior.
Either way though, it doesn't prove one way or the other whether CK was acting alone or with the support of the company as a whole, which is what we were talking about in the first place.
