I learned the other night that flying press actually does both flying and fighting type damage in the main games. Meaning if they wanted to be cool they could get away with having it do the Morpeko mechanic. Also this seems like it could open the door for terastallizing in GBL. If I'm not mistaken that's what it does in scarlet and violet. It makes the typing change for pokemon or something. Idk if they'll do any of that but it'd be super cool to have other pokemon do that mechanic and not just Morpeko. They could do Terra raids where the pokemon have the capability to terrastalize during pvp or something. Be cool of when/if they add that to the game it's in GBL too and not jist like the dynamax raids where you can only use dynamax pokemon in dynamax raids. Be cool to see that mechanic incorporated in GBL. GBL needs some love lol
GBL needs a lot of things 🤣 but this definitely opens the door for a lot of interesting new implementations and I am actually very much looking forward to them!

@@XehrFelroseI think the thing I was trying to highlight to you about what I was seeing about the Morpeko-Azumarill-Greninja line that went 3-7 was that your Greninja Safe swap kept baiting out the opponent's Azumarill/Toxapex out of the back, which are matchups Morpeko would have preferred to see. While in theory, the two water types to protect Morpeko lead from Golurk seem to be sound, Greninja wasn't getting you any discernable advantage as the safe swap because when it got hard punished , it couldn't get shields off its counters or win you alignment It's why Morpeko felt like a temperamental and inconsistent lead to me, reminds me of Togedemaru. When you win lead you win it so hard that nothing you are facing want to stay in at all, but when you lose lead you are so frail you can't even stay in for a moment
@@omarholder9036 yeah I absolutely see your point there and even though it was a good lead it’s really tough to build a team around without being super weak to something. I don’t understand, is there benefit to the form change? The point of form changes in game is they change stats and give different advantages, I don’t see the point in this whole morpeko form change thing
Mechanically it allows you to have both dark and electric coverage on a rotating move which is kind of cool. There's other ways it can be implemented. Aegislash's stats change for example when it changes form, so there'll be more ways it gets added in with different mons.
not sure if this was a glitch, but i got one shot by a hangry mode morpeko’s aura wheel dark on my mandibuzz where it should have been resisted, which lost me the set i was going 2-2 and at 2489 elo😭 great video though xehr edit: i reached veteran!
There have been some inconsistencies where if it gets a KO it doesn’t actually change. Aside from that, though I have not noticed it working outside of the way it was intended. Huge congrats on veteran too!!
IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT TEAM YOU RUN... THE "ENGAGEMENT BASED" MATCHMAKING SYSTEM... JUST PUTS YOU AGAINST A WIN OR A LOSS... YOU HAVE NO SAY IN ANY OF IT... AND 50-52% IS THE BEST YOU WILL ACHIEVE UNLESS YOU ARE CHEATING. THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN GET HIGHER THAN 51-52% IS IF YOU ARE HACKING/CHEATING.
I very much disagree with most of this, because the win/loss is based on a rock paper scissors blind 3, in which if you play 100 games of rock paper scissors you probably end up about the same overall win vs loss ratio. HOWEVER, the kind of hard counter teams you see in this game can be ridiculous at times and I don't blame people for thinking that there's something else to it (though I don't think there is personally).
