I’m glad you’re traveling to more countries to explore, I believe it will be another great series! You describe the Philippines and Thailand to your own children so warmly, I believe they will like you as a parent very much! Usually airlines provide meals, unless it’s a particularly cheap low-cost airline, but I didn’t expect Thai Airways’ meals to be so great! Thank you for providing the knowledge on exchanging currency, and thank you so much for sharing the video of this transfer! Happy travels! I wish you all a happy Christmas holiday! 👍🎅🙌❤🎁🎄🎉
If you ever travel to LA your platinum card is only good at the Centurion Lounge. Your priority pass is not welcomed anywhere. Sucks! I was there and wanted to try other lounges and was turned down every time.
If both flights were with Thai, why did you buy it as two separate tickets rather than just booking a flight from Manila to Phuket? That way, you would have had what's called a 'Protected Connection', meaning that if your first flight was delayed and you missed your connection, they would have just put you on the next flight with available seats at no cost to you. No stressing about losing all that money (which you pretty much went on to lose anyway with the peculiar way you handled currency exchange)! Also, it's generally (although not always) the Low Cost Carriers (LCCs) such as the likes of Air Asia, easyJet, Ryanair etc., etc. that charge for food and drink. Thai is a full service carrier, so a meal on a flight of 3+ hours was pretty much guaranteed.
How do you get the fees refunded? And do you know any alternatives to creditcards? I’m from the Netherlands and no one really uses creditcards here unless you have a business.
That's kind of a lot of wasted $ in fees. Especially the VIP customs escort for 30 bucks while in transit at BKK Airport. That could have been a seat in business class rather than in economy. But good to know since you're country hopping. Lesson learned, keep your USD, don't exchange at airports and wait until you get into a Forex. I've used SuperRich in Bangkok because they give the best rate when exchanging USD. Or just pull from an ATM which it was right next to a forex. May I ask, are you being sponsored by AMEX or Marriot Bonvoy or any of the airlines like Delta?
It wasn’t going to happen because from the get go, you’d rather be in Thailand than the Philippines. I’m sorry but it leaves a bad taste in our mouths as Filipinos when you stated so many times on your previous videos that you’ll spend Christmas and New Year in the Philippines. Keep in mind that a big chunk of your followers that have been supporting you from the very beginning are Filipinos, so we don’t appreciate being told one thing and you doing something completely different. And no, this has nothing to do with you enjoying other countries (as you should) more - we just don’t want you telling us how much you enjoy being in the Philippines when in reality, it is our viewership that you’re truly after!!!
Agreeable. But, I also think it’s too much for them to handle Christmas in the Philippines specifically if traveling alone. While Thailand is way less Christians who celebrate and decorations. Is another option to kind of wind down and back off a bit. Just my opinion.
@@nathanblueoh yeah he totally only cares about views that’s why he barely gets 5k views and literally does not complain he’s doing this cus he wants to and his videos are still entertaining
Bro I planned a one month trip in the Philippines and then to Thailand all the TH-cam's kept changing islands every 3 days. I thought i'd get to see Philippines and Thailand in one month. No way. I only seen three islands in the philippines before going home. I can't wait to go back in april and see the philippines for a month and thailand for a month
i'm struggling to understand how your flight(s) from Manila to Phuket cost $285 ?? Most expensive ive seen this is £120 ($153) I tried even on a Christmas Eve flight...🤣
superrichth gives better exchange rates. You can use your credit card to pay for things without having to exchange your dollars. It is best to carry $100 bills would give you better exchange rate. Exchange at the airport can be expensive.
Yes that Charles Schwab checking is a God send. I never change my money at the airport ever because I know you lose out instead I use my Charles Schwab debit card to get cash all the time. The only place I had an issue was Bali because I had to try 4 different ATM to actually get cash out.

Zane is being honest about his experience, let him be himself without having to try to please someone that is why we enjoy his videos.
It's a good time to be in Thailand now, so you made a good choice!
Hope you enjoy Thai travel. Wish you a merry Christmas!
I thought you're gonna spend your Christmas and new year in the Philippines?
We get it that majority of these foreigners prefer Thailand over the Philippines. What irks me is when they lie about it for the sake of viewership.

Hello Zane , Enjoy Thailand Merry Christmas 🎁🎄 🌲✌️👍👍👍👌
Non-bank currency exchange companies like Superrich in Thailand offer much better rates-I think better than using your ATM 😊.
Yay! Thanks for another travel video. Loving your chanel!!
Bye!
Have a great time in Thailand 👏

Thailand also has siópao, but Thai siópao is known as salapao in Thailand.
17:25 wow, what a coincidence! I also had this flight to Phuket (TG-217) in 17:30, but it was in August

I’m coming to Manila for the first Time in April, I’ve got a WISE card, great reviews and cheap FX and ATM withdrawals
too bad you’re not spending christmas and new year in the philippines. It would have been a different experience for sure.
I always pick windows seat for better view and I can rest my head to wall.
You have children? I feel like you would definitely be a great dad
You really should know not to change money in airports

He is really good TH-camr videos😊
Rookie mistake from someone traveling constantly over the current year. Ummmmmk. You’re a bit disorganized in every single video you post.
