    This brought back some beloved memories of making concrete stuff with my grandfather when I was a young child. We made all sorts of stuff using various junk and old boards as molds. The sight and sound of mixing in the wheelbarrow almost made me cry.

    Easy enough to make your own mould using a regular deep bottomed tray and using clay shapes to make the pattern. Afterwards you just scrub out the clay from the set concrete

    The instructions on the bag are for large quantities. Is there an idiot-proof formula for Cheng All-Weather + Concrete + Water for doing only a 1-2 12" rounds? Second question - my bag of concrete seemed to have a large quantity of small stones. I am trying to create a smooth surface. Will the stones sink below the surface or do they need to be sifted out?

    If you have a vibrator it would take all of the air bubbles out of the concrete

    I loved this. I hope to find products soon since I am too short on time for Mother's Day. Planning on birthday instead. These will be fabulous addition. Nice tutorial. Question: what do you do with leftover concrete? If I make too much for form for example. How do I care for my tools after? I am afraid of concrete destroying anything permanently.

      I'm pretty sure that you can put the vegetable oil on your trowels, shovels etc..

      Concrete cures by a chemical reaction no added heat needed.

    How could I make my own plastic mold so my design is unique please?

    • @Marsellsam
      @Marsellsam 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      jenny666barnish you can actually use clay to design your tile and then use a mold maker to make a mold for a concrete tile, it will make a form you can use over and over.
