(If you're new, watch the other videos on my channel for context on this AU) +Remember the More Than Anything Reprise animatic, where I revealed that in this AU, Lute and Abel were in love? Read the description on that vid. I came up with a deeper reason for this: Luluwa was never created properly, she and Calmana were shelved after the murder. God, behind everyone's back, repurposed their souls with some alterations. Fast forward 10,000 years later, Lute and her sister are Luluwa and Calmana reincarnated. Lute getting murdered by her sister is now a genderbent parallel to Cain and Abel. And her successfully exterminating her sinner sister and the mental breakdown that followed is what would happen if Abel got his revenge on Cain. +Luluwa being Lute is literally inspired by the first letters of their name being similar. But it makes sense why Abel was so drawn to her: in the end, he did end up meeting his intended, even though it wasn't how he expected. +I wanted Lute to have a deeper lore and making her a reincarnated biblical character sounds neat. Also explains the type of bond she shares with Adam, given that biblical Luluwa is his daughter +No one except God knows that Lute is a reincarnated Luluwa. The Elders didn't notice because during the bride project, their priority was personality, not looks. Avoiding Lilith 2.0 was the focus, they sure as hell don't remember what their looks were meant to be. But if Lute ever found out about this, cue existential identity crisis. What's funny is that if you were to put both of them in a room, they look identical. +God did this because it's all part of the Plan (™). 10,000 years later, it was about time to humble Abel’s hubris and so screw you, you got what you wanted but she left you with a broken heart and is conspiring against you. +Again, seeing Abel’s other eye is symbolic. What started as me being lazy ended up being a narrative choice: his other eye represents his innocence. But nowadays, we only see the X eye because the reminder of his murder is what fuels his rage to keep doing what he is doing. And speaking of lazy, lmao I didn't want to draw hands in this one, so he's wearing an oversized outfit because….yeah. +”...why is he SKINNY?!”. I try to choose my words carefully in my descriptions. When I called him lanky that one time, this is what I meant. He hit the gym regularly after becoming an angelic warrior. In life though, he was a sticc. +”Wasn't this animatic meant to be something else?” Yeah…art block. I hate leaving you guys with long hiatuses so have this in the meantime. Also, yes, toonsquid is still a learning curve. But at least it looks different than past animatics. And nope, I don't think my eye won't twitch whenever I watch that one scene where Sera calls Adam the first human soul in Heaven.
Thank you for not leaving us dry ^^. Honestly, I am happy to see Abel while he is vulnerable. I enjoy the contrast from then to now. As it is easy for an audience to say "get over it, your brother didn't mean to do it", it's a wholesale different thing when people are able to witness their trauma. Just cut out the Biblical names. Think of it like this: how would YOU ever feel is tge older brother that you looked up to murdered you in cold blood?
I like to think that later on Abel and Cain can join with their father against Lucifer. Although for it to make sense, we need strong Angels. Lucifer and the other Sins are no push overs.
@brunomerabarboza6933 technically, if you think about it if they have Cain and Abel in the actual show one day how would they explain Adam being the first soul in heaven when Cain killed Abel first.
I like how these young Abel and Emily look like true inhabitants of heaven you find with their current versions but it's also a bit sad to compare them and see how they became corrupted until they were consumed by darkness. They fought with monsters for so long that they became monsters.
Cain and Abel both deserved better. But, because these versions of Lucifer and Lilith decided to embrace being the monsters they were seen as, they suffered tremendously because of it.
and it would be interesting for Cain to have the role of destroying the perfect image that Charlie has of her parents, showing their rotten side, thus making him the first antagonist to win in the end.
Reading "no Alabama here" made me laugh so hard, I began to tear up, causing me to rub my eyes, litter did I firget I had touched jalapeños earlier. Causing me great pain. I am okay now though.
It would be interesting to see Lute at some point trying to convince Abel to not kill Cain since it would only leave him with a big void once he gets what he wanted, I wonder if Lute and Abel would ever get a chance to go back together, and I would also like to see Abel's reaction in case he realizes that Lute is the wife Abel never could get but reincarnated. Abel has certainly real reasons to hate his brother, Cain took everything from him, I can't imagine his pain once he realized that his hopes and dreams were gone in the blink of an eye... that was a huge emotional shock, and ofc we can't justify a genocide but, if I was in his place, I would probably also want revenge on the person that took everything from me. But as a wise said: "Revenge is never good, it kills the soul and poisons it" Gosh, you really make a good job at making us empathize with all the characters, and I love how this AU is mostly biblically accurate! This is what I mean when the AUs are even better than the originale series.
This was beautiful and painful, showing how hard it was for Abel in the beginning. Yet the lore dump is even better~ I still feel more for Cain, even if he made that choice and has suffered for it... I feel for him because temptations are hard to resist and thus what happened and then for Abel... well his story is still unfolding, until another amazing animatic have fun ^^
If Able and Cain ever have a battle might I recommend the song "Play with fire" that Lydia the bard just released? When I heard it I immediately thought how perfect it would be for this series.
Abel is still very much in the wrong, because no matter which way you cut it genocide is not ok, but you do an amazing job of humanizing him (Cain to but in other animatics) showing how and why Abel became who he is. He didn't wake up one morning and decide to be a dick, he was a legitimate victim and eventually his coping turned toxic. Humanizing villains is so important not to condone their actions, but to show that given the right circumstances, anyone can become a villain.
Idk why I draw Sera like that but it's a mix of my style/my art improvement/new software. Yeah, they technically are younger here but appearance wise, the only difference is that Abel is skinny. That's it, they look about the same in the present because they don't physically age
After reading the description , it’s understandable why Abel turned out the way he did and soon grew worse when sin ran rampant across the Earth. Hey Saffiro, I hope you don’t mind if I add this to my Hazbin Hotel story on Wattpad.
Calmana's reincarnation (She's nameless for now idk) was a violent loser drug addict that was outshinned by Lute. If she was created 10,000 years prior, she would be well adjusted and stoic. But God altered her soul to be an unrepentant bad person to make things go according to plan, she didn't feel remorse before getting exterminated.
It saddens me to know that Cain's destined partner is exterminated, that they never met and never will, unlike Abel and Lute/Luluwa who despite not being able to have their own children, will have each other.
I really like the colors in the thumbnail. All the blues helped me figure out it was gonna be a lil sad video even before watching it. Also how did Abel react to Seth being born to, if I remember correctly, take his place?
AU to the AU because I love these videos and the comment section has bitten my head off for this. If you want to join in you can. I this Lute is more a villain along with Emily. After reading the description here I've written that Lute is unaware of her original purpose. Many, many, many, many thousands of years later. Going off of the description my dude put in the video Lute is unaware of her history, but wanted to help Abel and has fallen for him a long while ago even when with Adam. Lute: Abel, you and I have had some fun together. Abel (deadpan): Yeah, yeah we have. Lute: Even now with Adam not being the man I got to know and... Raw dog for these thousands of years- Abel: I did not need to hear that last part. Lute: Sorry, my point is I... Feel your pain. I'm not even sure why, but when you first got here I could see the sadness in your eyes. Betrayed, killed by your family and all that. I... I want to help you. Abel: Help me how? Lute: Help prove Cain is no good and that he put some type of hex on Adam to make him behave the way he has been lately. There's something he's hiding and when we discover it, we can convince God and Satan to give him the punishment he truly deserves. Abel: What's in it for you? Lute holds out her hand to help Abel stand up. Lute: Nothing, it's what I would do for... You. I'm not sure what is about you, but I want to help you. Abel: My father "claimed" you remember? Lute: I don't want him anymore, I want to help you. Abel smiled, taking her hand to stand and they head off together.

Interesting to see how Abel's reaction just after Cain killed him
But Adam is the first soul in heaven, did Abel go to hell?

I adore how you can make Abel and Cain understandable but not say that it is black and white.
Poor Abel. *Hugs him in comfort*

@@CarlosBisogninperes in this au in brutus isn't charlie seen as helping her parents tempt him

Poor Abel

Yeah, even after what was written in the description, I'm still rooting for Cain. I appreciate a good redemption story for the underdog.

Khm. Great as always. And now I ship Emily and Abel even more.
Me gusto mucho el video y la información que muestran
Pretty💙
Love how younger Abel, Sera, and Emily look or is that just an accident.

If Lute's sister was still alive, would she have helped with the hotel or did she not repent of her sin?

Knowing the story of him. It's sad that his own brother killed him
Damn.
❤❤❤
When will the sins of the father end I'm just wondering ?

Pobre Abel....💔💔💔💔💔
Man Abel has such a beautiful feminine (singing) voice.
